INFANTRY TEAM ASSAULT
After another Soldier figure you control reveals an OM on their card and takes a turn, you may attack with Grunt. If you do, you cannot attack with any other figures this turn.

That works. For the record, it's that last sentence that is key to shutting down the stacking, so if you end up wanting to tweak anything before that sentence, you can without worry.

For the full officialese, you're gonna want to swap to "After revealing an Order Marker on the card of another Soldier (Hero?) you control and taking a turn with that Soldier, ..." at the beginning of the power. Then leave everything after the comma.

Using Ronins updated wording here is the newest version. I've added a bit on the end because I have plans for Duke to be able to reveal new order markers on the same turn and I did want that to stack with this power. Let me know if this is OK or breaks anything. Thanks everyone for your help on this power. It's a key one for many of the basic joes and I do want to make sure its right.

After revealing an Order Marker on the card of another Soldier hero you control and taking a turn with that Soldier, you may attack with Grunt. If you do, you cannot attack with any other figures this turn until you reveal another Order Marker.

For reference as to why I want it based on OM and not just rest of turn here is the power I was going to give Duke:

COORDINATED ATTACKS
After any Soldier, Commando, Ranger or Marine figure you control within 6 clear sight spaces of Duke takes a turn, you may reveal and remove an unrevealed Order Marker on any unique hero you control that does not have the Super Strength special power and take a turn with that figure.

I feel like we tend to use "reveal an Order Marker" in power text in a way that isn't totally consistent. Like when we say "until the next time you reveal an Order Marker", that's clearly meant to be at the start of your next turn, not when you reveal an OM for Hulk II or whatever. It's one of those weird phrases in the game where it means 2 different things, depending on the context.

I think that power interaction with Duke might be confusing for that reason? I don't want to say for sure, but my first instinct is that it might be a bit perplexing for the average player, or at least not immediately apparent.

Also, slightly off-topic, but was the decision ever made about how fully Cap should be roped into the Joe faction? There was a lot of discussion a while back about working the faction in a way where he wasn't always a convenient draft, but a lot of these powers are very Cap friendly. Idk, just a thought going forward. I honestly wouldn't mind Captain America just being a really solid draft with GI Joe - there's kind of a fun comic book crossover feel there.

If this is going to be confusing then I will have to find another approach. For Duke, I was thinking something similar to what Leonardo offers his team, in which you can spend all your order markers for a single all out attack (actually up to 8 attacks with Infantry Team) at a cost of using up all your OMs at once. Or at least gaining a bonus turn using the X OM. But I did definitely want that to stack with Infantry Team Assault.

I was planning on them working well with Cap and even Gen. Ross. The only way to exclude them would be to create a new faction team (perhaps simply G.I.Joe) so that they have no outside synergy. However that would not be my first choice. I like the fact that they work with the current army figures.

Yeah, I think Cap & WarMachine being soldiers is just going to need to be factored in. I want a bunch of the Joes to be soldiers able to team up with other soldiers like Sgt. Rock, Guile, & the Comedian. Then a handful of Commando's sprinkled in to give them a little bit of flavor.
