Re: North Carolina Scapers

I went by Gamer's Armory yesterday. They have ten tables, but five of them were set up for Warhammer. They did not have any Heroscape in stock, but they did have a LARGE collection of of papermap, cardstock counters wargames. There was more Advanced Squad Leader stuff in ther than I had ever seen before in a store.

Prometheus and Granite-M just letting you guys know that Grungebob stated in the question dump thread that in the future I can not use Cover Fire to move a figure and try and pick up a treasure glyph. He said that in order for a figure to try and pick up a treasure glyph you must be taking a full turn with it.

I will be at Game Theroy this Sunday and the 22nd. But I will be unavailable on the 15th and 29th. Diane might come on the 22nd.

I know you all meet at Game Theory, but read here. I am trying to start a campaign to get more FLGS carrying Scape.

Actually, I answered that question on the Treasure glyphs for you, it just took GB for everyone to believe me.

Guess I'm getting back into Scape

That might have something to do with your lack of nerd celebrity status and the fact that you don't have a Black Knight Gen Con exclusive figure named after you.

But, could you not get squatters rights? Use cover fire to park a figure on the treasure glyph. Next time you take a turn with them, their movement immediately ends & they get to try to open the treasure? It would be a strategy to deny you opponent first crack, and I think within the rules.

Namaste,

As long as the power does not have the wording "empty space" in it, this is legal. It states in the rulebook you can put figures on TGs to deny others attempting to pick it up.

Re: North Carolina Scapers

Glad you found it Oliver. I am planning to set up River of Blood this Sunday. Let me know who's interested, because if theres more than 2 I can bring both my Dungeon sets and set up two campaigns at once.

Re: North Carolina Scapers

Hi guys I just moved to North carolina a few months ago. i live in Raeford, near Fayetteville. Im really interested in trying HS, and after researching a bit I have my heart set on finding Rise of the Valkyrie master set. Anyone know any hobby shops around me that would sell some HS stuff, or also where I can buy the master set for cheaper than the $70+ prices I've seen.

Go to the WotC website and try the store locator. That's your best start and of course maybe Wallyworld.

Re: North Carolina Scapers

Just a note:

hobbit Inc. (now Hobbit Hobby) does NOT carry Heroscape, but they carry a HUGE amount of other games, and also some nondescript miniatures. It's worth checking out, but not if you want to buy Heroscape.
