Increasing Computer Speed and Performance
I just downloaded and installed a new theme from Alienware that came with an object dock that uses a lot of RAM and slows my computer down. Do you guys know any quick tips on increasing speed and performance?

More RAM. Less crap using up RAM (like themes/docks). Faster Processor. Less crap using up Processesor cycles.

Do Not go following guides you find on the interwebs™ to disable services. If you do not know what you are doing, you can severly cripple your system.

Okay, I'm going to go through my files and see what I don't need. I also set disk cleanup and defrag to scheduled tasks so I'll start doing those regularly.
