Last discussed, Grim was thinking the one in Chandler.

A date hasn't been set yet, or talked about. But I think sometime in mid-September is the general timeframe being considered.

Hey Guys ok before I can set a date I had some Questions for all intrested.

1. Kids or no Kids (I have a 6 1/2yr old who loves to play but I wouldnt mind some adult intellect ither)
2. If kids maybe there own game?
3. How many setups? (table space mite be limited one big map or a couple of small maps)
4. A couple of big games with all players or match type play?

Let me know it will help plan a time better thanks.

NO KIDS!!! I want to get away from the circus, not take it with me
Other than that, whatever you all want to do is fine with me.

FYI, Game Depot (?) in Tempe has a lot more room for gaming than Atomic Comics, and it's a little more centrally located. Just throwing that out there.

I'm with Roweiser on the no kids, granted my kids love the game, but like you said I wouldn't mind some adult intellect either... LOL

New AZ member. Unfortunately, I'm not in the PHX metro area...about 3.5 hours east of Mesa. But I may be able to work something out.

1. I'd prefer no kids.
2. (see above)
3. This depends on the number of people that can actually attend. If only four people can show, then yes, a large map would be cool. However, if we have more than that, smaller maps would play quicker and allow people more game time, rather than just sitting there around a big map with several others, waiting for their next turn.
4. I like match type play. As a player, you get more actual playing time. And on smaller maps with players who know the game, matches move pretty fast!

Good to see another Arizona player. As you can tell, we are trying to set something up for Arizona players. Hopefully you'll be able to attend once we pin down the details.

Damn, there goes my invite.

j/k i'd love to do something like this. kids or no kids i'll be there. i live in chandler and i'd show up at GD or AC.

only 1 suggestion: we bring pre-made armies at whatever point value the group decides that way noone feels compelled to bring their entire army to have to draft from.

/looks in mirror

ok, ok, so I don't have to pack everything in the car
