Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

@superfrog - thanks for commenting.

It has been a long while . . . We have continued to battle throughout 2018 and into 2019. I just haven't had the time to post things. The battle descriptions will be short until I get caught up. Thanks for viewing!

Group D – February 21, 2018

Battle 1: Thaeberian Wellsprings v2

Omega's Omni: Omnicron Snipers, Omegacron, Omnicron Repulsors x2, Gammacron = 440
Davion's Guards: Guardians of Davion x2, Michael Davion
Alyssa Davion, Ellesar = 445

Michael, Alyssa, and the Davion Guard pulled off a cliff-hanger as they used Phase Step and Dimensional Leap strategically.

Final Score: Davion's Guard 48, Omega's Omni 0
----------
Battle 2: Thaeberian Wellsprings v2

Su-Bak-Na's Dividers: Marro Dividers x3, Kee-Mo-Shi, Su-Bak-Na, Isamu = 450
Sudema's Mummies: Crypt Guardian x2, Sudema, Gurei-Oni, Corpse Tormentors = 450

The Tormentors weren't enough to help Sudema as the Dividers crushed in the most lop-sided battle thus far. It was really cool to have Kee-Mo-Shi be a superstar!

Final Score: Su-Bak-Na's Dividers 387, Sudema's Mummies 0
----------
Battle 3: Barren Plateau

The Crypt Guardians and Corpse Tormentors controlled the plateau early, but the Snipers and Omegacron picked Sudema's army off with ease.

Final Score: Omega's Omni 327, Sudema's Mummies 0
----------
Battle 4: Barren Plateau

What a thriller! Davion's Guard and the Dividers battled it out toe-to-toe for rounds. It all came down to Ellesar hitting Isamu from range without a 9+ on the 20-sider.

Final Score: Davion's Guard 27, Su-Bak-Na's Dividers 0
----------
Battle 5: From the Ashes

The Dividers got back into the win column with another run-away victory.

Final Score: Su-Bak-Na's Dividers 190, Omega's Omni 0
---------
Battle 6: From the Ashes

The Davion faction finally got a breather in facing Sudema's squad . . . and it was as close as the Mummies would come. Not a huge point differential for Davion in their Group, but they will advance to the next round.

Final Score: Davion's Guard 139, Sudema's Mummies 0
---------

Group D Standings (W - L - Pts)

Davion's Guard (3 – 0 – 214 )
Su-Bak-Na's Dividers (2 – 1 – 550 )
Omega's Omni (1 – 2 - 89 )
Sudema's Mummies (0 – 3 - -853 )

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

Group E battles took place beginning on March 2, 2018. Here were the contestants . . .

Valguard's Raiders: Dreadgul Raiders x3, Valguard, Lea Argil, Guilty McCreech, Malleus = 450

Shurrak's Fire: Obsidian Wyldfire x3, Shurrak, Eravan Sunshadow = 450

Estivara's Drow: Deepwyrm Drow x3, Bellochar, Yalzochar, Estivara = 450

Master Lao's Monks: Shaolin Monks x2, Master Lao Xin, Zhen Yuan, Chen Tang = 450

Got any predictions on which army came out on top?

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

Group E – March 2, 2018

Battle 1: From the Ashes

Valguard's Raiders: Dreadgul Raiders x3, Valguard, Lea Argil, Guilty McCreech, Malleus = 450
Shurrak's Fire: Obsidian Wyldfire x3, Shurrak, Eravan Sunshadow = 450

Perhaps the best performance in Valguard's career as he and the Raiders crushed Shurrak and friends.

Final Score: Valguard's Raiders 179, Shurrak's Fire 0
----------
Battle 2: From the Ashes

Estivara's Drow: Deepwyrm Drow x3, Bellochar, Yalzochar, Estivara = 450
Master Lao's Monks: Shaolin Monks x2, Master Lao Xin, Zhen Yuan, Chen Tang = 450

The monks win! The monks win! Master Lao makes the monks fun.

Final Score: Master Lao's Monks 53, Estivara's Drow 0
----------
Battle 3: Barren Plateau

The Dreadguls were too much for the monks in this battle. And Guilty picked off much more than his points.

Final Score: Valguard's Raiders 208, Master Lao's Monks 0
----------
Battle 4: Barren Plateau

Team Fire got into the win column with a convincing defeat of the Drow.

Final Score: Shurrak's Fire 144, Estivara's Drow 0
----------
Battle 5: Thaeberian Wellsprings v2

Close down to the wire. Shurrak's Fire earned the victory and will move on to the next round while the Monks pack their bags and head home.

Final Score: Shurrak's Fire 27, Master Lao's Monks 0
---------
Battle 6: Thaeberian Wellsprings v2

The Drow played a tactically brilliant game and earned their only victory and prevented Valguard's Raiders from running the table in the round-robin.

Final Score: Estivara's Drow 66, Valguard's Raiders 0
---------

Group E Standings (W - L - Pts)

Valguard's Raiders (2 – 1 – 321 )
Shurrak's Fire (2 – 1 – -8 )
Estivara's Drow (1 – 2 - -131 )
Master Lao's Monks (1 – 2 - -182 )

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

Group F – March 10, 2018
No real battle reports for this group, which was conducted with the greater Everett heroscaper community.

Battle 1: Thaeberian Wellsprings v2

Sparta's Capuans: Capuan Gladiators x3, Spartacus, Achillean Gladiatrix = 450
Kyrllin's Lizards: Greenscale Warriors x3, Raezza, Kyrllin = 450

Joseph steamrolled with the Gladiators to take out @Dr.Goomonkey and his Ullarian forces.

Final Score: Sparta's Capuans 133, Kyrllin's Lizards 0
----------
Battle 2: Barren Plateau

Drake's Patriots: 4th Massachusetts Line x3, Samuel Brown, Sgt. Drake Alexander V2 = 450
Raelin's Sentinels: Sentinels of Jandar x3, Raelin the Kyrie Warrior V2 = 450

Two armies of Jandar squared off in a battle that came to one wound. I am not exactly sure how the final score came about, but it must have been close! Quinn's Raelin-supported Sentinels were just a little too much for @obfuscatedhippo and his bluecoats.

Final Score: Raelin's Sentinels 2, Drake's Patriots 0
----------
Battle 3: Ticallan Tower

Obfuscatedhippo's got their first win, hanging on against Joseph and Spartacus.

Final Score: Drake's Patriots 72, Sparta's Capuans 0
----------
Battle 4: Balkrmyrr

Raeza went on a rampage and Kyrllin held the Sentinels in check in this blowout as Dr.Goomonkey got into the win column. Heading into the final two games, each army has a 1-1 record.

Final Score: Kyrllin's Lizards 285, Raelin's Sentinels 0
----------
Battle 5: From the Ashes

Dr.Goomonkey and his Lizards advance while Obfuscated suffers another close defeat.

Final Score: Kyrllin's Lizards 53, Drake's Patriots 0
---------
Battle 6: Nottiss

The dice were very cold for Quinn, while Joseph and his Capuans advance to the next round.

Final Score: Sparta's Capuans 260, Raelin's Sentinels 0
----------

Group F Standings (W - L - Pts)

Sparta's Capuans (2 – 1 – 321 )
Kyrllin's Lizards (2 – 1 – 205 )
Drake's Patriots (1 – 2 – 17 )
Raelin's Sentinels (1 – 2 - -543 )
----------

Group G battles also took place March 10, 2018, with the local gaming group. Here were the contestants . . .

Runa's Minions: Minions of Utgar x3, Runa = 450

Ulfrid's Templars: Templars of Ascalon x3, Baron Sebastian, Concan the Kyrie Warrior, Ulfrid Hornwrangler = 440

Valguard's Greeks: Sacred Band x3, Marcus Decimus Gallus, Parmenio, Valguard = 450

Mok's Grinders: Axegrinders of Burning Forge x2, Mok, Darrak Ambershard
Eldgrim The Viking Champion = 450

Got any predictions on which army came out on top?

NWHC customs are linked.

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

Group I - March 10, 2018

Beorn's Hoplitrons: Major X17, Major J15, Hoplitron x3, Deathwalker 7000, Beorn Boltcutter = 450

Akumaken's Stingers: Marro Stingers x3, Marro Hive, Akumaken = 450

Jotun's Raiders: Dreadgul Raiders x3, Jotun, Guilty McCreech = 450

Khosumet's Anubians: Anubian Wolves x3, Khosumet the Darklord, Anubian Alpha x2, Isamu = 450

Battle 1: The Hoplitron's shoved the wolves all over the Ticallan Tower map to pull over a 125 win.

Battle 2: Jotun was swinging and throwing Stingers all over the place in this 353 beat-down. Wow!

Battle 3: And then Jotun and the Raiders did even better . . . winning with 363 points left over the Soulborgs. Joseph was giggling throughout.

Battle 4: The Stingers got into the win column with a nail-biter over the Anubians. Only 24 points remained on the battlefield for victors as Akumaken took out the last two wolves to end it.

Battle 5: The Stingers beat the Hoplitrons by 154 to get to two wins and clinch a spot in the big dance.

Battle 6: Jotun's Raiders had their closest battle, but still won with 117 points remaining over Khosumet's Anubians. Joseph went undefeated in the group and with a huge point differential. I can't imagine that any army will be able to supplant them as the #1 seed in the big dance.

Group I Standings (W - L Pts)
Jotun's Raiders (3-0 +833)
Akumaken's Stingers (2-1 -175)
Beorn's Hoplitrons (1-2 -392)

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018

We finally did it! Well, we completed the first groupings. Every heroscape figure was used at least once in an army - classic, C3V, SoV, and NWHC included.

After 146 armies, 14 different individuals participating, and two years, we are now ready for the Big Dance!

I will keep posting brief summaries of the rest of the first round groupings and post pics where I have them. The previous three posts summed up our huge game day in March almost two years ago.

Thanks for reading!

Group J - April 5, 2018

Haduc's Archers: Aubrien Archers x4, Haduc, Arkmer, Kyntela Gwyn = 450

9000's Infrantry: Zettian Infantry x3, Deathwalker 9000, Mistress Isadora = 445

Battle 1: Grigor, or was it Rigor?, went toe-to-toe with the Deathwalker. The Gruts got past the 9000 and his Infantry on Durgeth Swamp with 158 points remaining.

Battle 2: The Ravagers came out to play, crushing Haduc and his archers by 363 points. Ouch!

Battle 3: The Ravagers didn't have the swamps on this map and got slaughtered by Grig's Gruts by 383 points.

Battle 4: 9000's Infantry got into the win column by 240 points over Haduc's squad, as Frenzy just didn't show.

Battle 5: Grig's Gruts moved to 3-0 and a huge 672 point-margin in the group, getting past Ullar's representatives with 131 remaining.

Battle 6: In a battle to see who would go on to the Big Dance, 9000's Infantry rolled to another 240 point victory over the Ravagers.

Re: All-Heroscape Mega-Tournament - 2018/20

Group K - April 10, 2018

Brunak's Fire: Obsidian Wyldfire x3, Brunak, Vadik Hollesturm, Marcu Esenwein = 450

Mika's Assassins: Khorvairian Assassins x4, Mika Connour = 450

Quahon's Spiders: Fyorlag Spiders x4, Quahon, Wyvern = 450

Brim's Zombies: Zombies of Morindan x4, Zombie Hulk, Brimstone = 450

Battle 1: Brunak's Fire took care of the Zombies by 186 points on the Ruins of Rennoc.

Battle 2: Mika's Assassins squeaked by the Spiders with 44 points remaining on the map in a close one.

Battle 3: The Assassins were pummeled by the Wyldfire and Brunak in this contest ... by 380 points.

Battle 4: Team Quohan got into the win column, convincingly. The Zombies fell by a 383 margin. The Shores of Thaelink can be a tough map.

Battle 5: The Spiders and Quohan put up back-to-back landslides with a 262 point victory over Brunak's squad.

Battle 6: Mika and friends needed a win to make it to the next round. They got it, sneaking past the Zombies by 223 points. Three teams finished 2-1 and will advance, which is only the second time in 11 groupings. Poor Zombies ... 0-3 and negative 792 points will be one of the worst records when all is said and done.

Group K Standings (W - L Pts)
Quohan's Spiders (2-1 +601)
Brunak's Fire (2-1 +304)
Mika's Assassins (2-1 -113)
Brim's Zombies (0-3 -792)
