No idea as I wasn't part of the design process here at all. With him being a 700 point Event Hero, I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional have it work with the SA. He can already lasso someone for -2 def., then pop a battery for +2 attack and crush someone with one big hit so 3 smaller hits of 4 doesn't seem too crazy with the -2 def. The lasso effect only last the one turn after all.

Yeah, I think only @IAmBatman would know the intent here.

EDIT: can't see that they were used in combination in any of the tests though, so it wouldn't be a major change to make.

I was part of the process for that one and the Lasso playing off of Spidey's web slingers was my idea...however if it was intentional I don't remember it being discussed. I don't think it's a huge issue either way just the thought of getting 3 attacks of 4 on someone with -2 to their defense seemed likely to be pretty good. Especially against someone like Flash. What really triggered my mind was that I was debating taking Ares for a spin and he has a -1 defense reaction as well so the thought of lasso-ing someone just inside of Ares 4 space range and doing 3 attacks of 4 on a figure with -3 defense and being able to move afterwards so Amazo can end his turn outside of that 4 space Ares aura seemed like a great play.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

I remember liking the combo so I believe it was intentional.

I'm playing with my son and teaching his friend...not to concerned with competitiveness on this one. He just thought Ares looked cool and I wanted to just put him on the table to get a feel. I actually expect that I won't win this one which is sort of the point with the first game...let the Justice League beat the bad guys and the boys will be happy and excited to play again.

Sometimes you take one for the team.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Awesome. Thematically that combo was great against Flash. Rolling only two dice on defense for 3x4 attacks really reduced speed dodge reliability.

I don't think we ever tried to or wanted to or saw the need to restrict it, so it's intentional so far as that goes.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I turned out great...So much fun that my son and played another Amazo game today. Superman I, Flash (Barry) and Atom vs Amazo. Supes, Flash and Atom all had only 1 life remaining when Superman rolled 7/7 skulls against 2/8 shields to finish off Amazo. Once again the Lasso + Super Speed Attack vs Flash was a perfect counter to Speed Dodge. Three attacks vs Flash rolling only 2 defense made Amazo feel like he had Flash's Speed.

I tried to get away from Superman so I could lasso him and then drop a battery marker for and attack of 10 (with height) against a -2 Defense Superman but my son realized what I was doing and didn't let me have the chance. He has a tool to counter most of the Justice League figures which is thematic. Glad we left it open to normal and special attacks.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
