I don't think there's a mechanical difference between opponent/enemy figures? Probably just an inconsistent wording thing?

Yeah it's just a wording thing. You're probably thinking of friendly/you control, where there is a mechanical difference.

Thanks Fresh! DP, Cable and Domino make an 800 block, throw in Sable and you should have a solid 1,000 point army. He also works really well with Bob. DP, Bob, and Cable is 600.

Of course feel free to run whatever you think works best, I'm looking forward to the tests!

I’ll step in and say I don’t think Cable and this Deadpool are a particularly great pairing. That’s not on Deadpool really, I just think trying to play our current Cable as a Merc synergy piece is a bit of a fool’s errand. Silver Sable is a great Merc pick though!

Any thoughts real quick before the tests of also doing this, Avengers Spidey also doesn't specify normal in the second line and this would help ensure DP is worth 300. The normal is mostly carryover from the previous version of the power I think.

Thoughts on the Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, and Draftability : 2 wins here, but only the first one felt like it was impacted in a big way by Deadpool. His passive threat goes down in a big way if he loses his TP Belt, the Illuminati essentially ignored him after he took a wound (Anti-Venom was a bigger threat though).

He’s a passive figure. I mostly just let him get into position for Me First, and then started activating other figures. Melee normal attackers are gonna hate seeing this guy. He’s pretty annoying to fight, but that feels in character!

I did run 2 opposing armies that lacked special attacks, which was good for Deadpool.

Might want one more set of tests with the updated powers, but he felt balanced. Fits in well with other self-healers. A touch on the strong side maybe. Fun design, love how Mercenaries are a fairly competitive army now.

I love the theme of that text, but it always feels a little easy to miss when we’re so used to having it on the figure’s card!

Sounds like it would’ve been a bigger win without that misplay, so he might still be coming in a bit strong?
