Spells time of effect

Hello! I have a question. How long do sorceries and auras (enchantments) cards last? One turn or ever? Thanks!

There isn't much detail in the Rulebook on this.

The Arena of the Planeswalkers game guide has this on Pg 6:

Sorcery Cards: When a sorcery spell is played, do whatever it says and then place it in your discard pile, which called your graveyard.

To me this means they happen once and then go away.

Example: Mind Control is a sorcery. You play it and do what it says - and then it goes into your discard. "You may move and attack with target squad creature an opponent controls that is within 4 clear sight spaces of a blue Planeswalker you control."

Enchantment - Aura cards: Auras are attached to army cards.[/I] {then it goes into face-up versus hidden enchantments}.

To me the 'attach' means it stays in place until it cleared states that it is discarded/destroyed or another spell or power discards it.

Example: Chandra's Fury stays active and in play because it is attached to a Planeswalker.

Example: Scatter Arc is a 'hidden enchantment'. You attach it but then it says to Destroy it (discard) after it is used.
