Army to Command

One night, as you are sitting down by yourself, a paid assassin comes out from the shadows and has a sword to your throat. Then, suddenly, you are warped out of the safety of your home find yourself being teleported to Vallhalla! You have been chosen due to your outstanding strategic abilities in the game "Heroscape." You have been found to be a military genius!
One problem, though. All six generals tried to snatch you at the same time, so as you are gliding through the wormhole there are six different exits: on the far right is Jandar, next to it is Ullar, in the middle right is Einar, next to him is Vydar, then there Utgar, and finally Aquilla.
No matter what portal you go through, you know your job is going to be the same: You will not be fighting, but co-commanding the general's armies with that general.
So, the question is: Which exit do you take, knowing that the one you choose will have you commanding that general's army, and what is the reason for it?

Interesting thread! I guess I'd hop into the path that leads to Jandar. I love a lot of Utgar's units, but Jandar has got the knights (except for that treacherous Hawthorn!) and most of my tactical knowledge is medieval in nature.

I would go with Jandar so I can make the moves on Raelin and Kelda.

I'd wish I knew more about the back-stories of each general and wonder why the #@$! they picked me. I'd also wonder what benefits came with each.

I know I couldn't choose Utgar. Marro women don't do it for me and I don't like being "the bad guy".

Aquilla... very mysterious. All I know so far is a monk, spiders, and a giant bug. Doesn't sound like fun. o_o

Ullar doesn't feel like my cup of tea. Elves are cool and all... but a) I'm not pretty enough, b) Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?, and c) I'd miss my modern conveniences.

Einar tempts my Asian obsession... but I don't feel I have the discipline to do well.

Vydar tempts my inner geek... and it's probably where I'd end up. I like tech. I surround myself with way more tech than I should. I've been honestly tempted to sell off some of my stuff to buy more equipment for wearable computer systems and to pimp my home network more...

Oh well. I'd go either Ullar for the elves, though Aquone says we aren't pretty men, so we can't. Vydar also tempt my inner (and outer) geek. I'm going Vydar.

Seems to be a popular choice, but maybe I'm more inclined to consider him after Gurei-Oni and Zelrig. For now, NO.

Mmmm, Nakitas... Not thrilled about hangin with the Majors, though, so NO.

Tempting, definitely my second choice, but NO.

Who? Nah. Don't know enough about her yet to pick her. NO.

Money. Awesome heroes, great squads, sheer numbers - Utgar for president! YES.
