Eeerm, that army seems like junk to me, though it may be good on the battlefield...

Laglor can only help Vydar, which you have none of. Plus, only one squad probably isn't a great idea. Plus no bonding = slow. Little range doesn't help. But hey, whatever floats yer' boat. Maybe it works great, I've never tried it, so I wouldn't know.

Mine?

2x Blade Gruts - For the offensive
2x Arrow Gruts -Ranged support
2x Swogs -You know why...
Tornak - Boosts the Gruts
Grimnak - Boosts the gruts
Krug - Bonding =
Airborne Elite - More ranged support
Krav Maga - Everyone loves the Krav!
Guilty Mcreech - Filler, keep 'im covered till the end.

Heavy bonding and boosting of Orcs keeps this army winning everytime I use it.

I'm a complete newbie at HS, so if I make mistakes, DON'T HURT ME! ;.;

Ah, bonding with the Arrow Gruts makes Krug really deadly.

Arrow gruts bond with Mimring as well, which makes him worth it. A really good combo includes Mimring, arrow gruts, and Krug. This Combo allow bonding with a range 8 dragon (when you need range) and the best melee figure in the game. After using a dragon or troll, it's always nice to pepper your enemy with a few 1-attack arrows!

Actually, I think you'll find that on average, the Warriors of Ashra are the best in meele.

While it is true that the Warriors of Ashra are great in melee, they get taken out by ranged units really easy. I usually only use the warriors when my opponents' ranged units are eliminated or tied up with some deathreavers.

with 800 pts, you gotta have some units working together IMO. This is not a themed army but it would work

marro hounds x 4 360
Krav 100
Raelin 80
AE 110
marro 50
Agent Carr 100
800

Riptide is surprisingly tart
here's one I used last night...

Eldgrim -30
Deathreavers -40
Finn -80
Raelin -80
Thorgrim -80
Crixus -90
Parmenio -90
Legionaires x2 -100
Marcus -100
Roman Archers x2 -110

Eldgrim and the reavers go out first, supported by Finn.

Thorgrim and a set of archers are next - using Volley when possible (always staying with Thorgrim for Def bonus) - The other set of archers finding some high ground.

Parmenio and one wave of legionaires take the left flank while Marcus and his set take the right.

Raelin supports Crixus for the end with all 3 bonus cards going to him - he is a heavy hitter with a good defensive ability - (I would have used Kelda instead of Raelin, but I don't have her)
