Scape charity.

I was thinking of the money I was going to give to charity, and thought, it would be neat if we set up a charity and gave an amount of donated money, or heroscape stuff to charity on behalf of heroscapers.

I dont have anything planned, this is an idea, I dont blame if you laugh and say no.

no reason for people not to reply to a good cause thread? I think it is a wonderful idea - that is a tough on for me to give heroscape stuff - not the actually giving ( I did send stuff to Finrod for his friend and charged nothing ) but that fact that if someone needs charity they need $ and food way before toys. But then to give a game to a needy family - if the kids are hapy and playing a game then mom is happy and has time for work around the house more?

1. PIck some charity and see if the HSer's community can raise so much to donate to.

2. We all donate heroscape stuff for and orphanage &/or $ or food?

Sure! My family bought a bunch of games for a family who goes to my sister's school who's house got reposessed. I thought about getting a Master Set for them, but it costs the price of three or four other board games, plus the fun is having/getting lots of it.

However, with lots of people, this would be easily plausible. If everyone with 1000+ posts each donated one expansion, we'd donate more than I, or many people here, own. (109 expansions!) And that's only people with 1000+ posts! If everyone were to donate... why, it blows my mind!

I kinda added scape so admins would not be ticked. I am mustering up my money.

My plan is to buy up all the Nakitas I can find and donate them to toys for tots. Then I will write it off my taxes as a charitable donation.

Then, just maybe, I will find a set or two that I actually require.
