Testing 1,2,3
I anticipate testing will match my theoryscaping but I can understand reservations without the tests. I didn't even notice you changed prices (but I also wouldn't have changed anything about it since I tend to aim high with prices anyway). I think he will do well against a lot of armies but I really don't see it as that much different from Ms. Marvel or Prof X. or Mr. F.
~Dysole, who notes that the champion army you mentioned is vulnerable to anything with a lot of figures or anything that deals autowounds (or hits for a ton of dice while costing significantly less{I would seriously consider Sage + Martian Manhunter (I) + Cuckoos + stuff as that packs a lot of wallop for half the cost and very few of the powers are affected by Supes/Thor/WW}) My Twitch Channel where I play Scape and other things My YouTube Channel where the games get uploaded later Dysole's Draft Rankings Map Thread (Not responsible for psychic damage) Customs Battle Reports This sentence is seven words long. Also, I think a decent Yellow Lantern army would work well against that build - Yellow Lanterns are lethal. Last edited by Lazy Orang; September 22nd, 2015 at 07:22 AM. |

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II)
Alright, how about this:
LEAGUE MIND LINK An opponent may never take control of Martian Manhunter or any figure you control within X spaces of Martian Manhunter, where X equals the number of Justice League Markers on this card. All figures you control are considered within clear sight of each other. Once per round, after revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card and instead of taking a turn normally with Martian Manhunter, you may remove a Justice League Marker from this card and immediately choose up to two Unique Heroes you control to take a turn. Martian Manhunter may be chosen for this special. Some want a static range to it, but I feel in this case with the marker system and how it is supposed to balance itself out, I think it is necessary to have a bit more complexity to the power. Having it tied to the markers means you're choosing between the double turns or the control denial, which I feel is an important factor to keeping both a little more counter balanced. I updated the SP, and added a box of changes made, so everything can still be seen and discussed. Last edited by Arkham; September 22nd, 2015 at 11:59 AM. |

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II) (Vote for Initial PT)
The design looks good to me, but I suggest slowing down a little, Sock; neither SirGalahad or johnny have commented yet, and since johnny was the strongest opposition to this design, I'd like to hear his thoughts before moving to the Initial.

That's fine. I just hate to see it sit. But it's all good.

Just chiming in to say that I also have no concerns about the double activations, especially if it's limited to once per round.

Fine with the concept. Like the internal balancing.

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II)
To be fair to sock, it's been up more than 72 hours, which is a day beyond our "breathing period." I'd like to hear from
@johnny139
as well, though.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II)
I'm fine with waiting if I know someone hasn't had the chance to add their thoughts to the mix. But sometimes it's hard to tell whether someone just hasn't had the time, or someone doesn't really have anything to say. So I'm cool with putting it in neutral for another day if johnny has been unavailable.
I just don't like letting things sit for the sake of letting them sit. It holds up the rest of the Public Designers looking to potentially get something through. I know it's not a race, and one must practice patience etc. But there's plenty of times through Public Designs that I've seen a design sit there for a few days to even weeks, with no progress made. I'm just trying to avoid that. |

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II)
Overall no major issues. My biggest concern is the unlimited clear sight clause, which is strictly better than any future version of the power. If we think it's worth keeping, that's fine, but I don't love it when it's such a minor piece of the pie.
I would push to keep the "X spaces" bit, that should have some fun interactions. Feeling a bit like Vigilante is out of place in the class lineup, but I guess it works if it doesn't stand out to anyone else. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Martian Manhunter (II)
Vigilante is there to include the original Justice League team. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Flash. Since he is the founder.
