Re: The Book of Ion (Awaiting Public Testing)
I want to see an army that's a palindrome.

Re: The Book of Ion (Awaiting Public Testing)
At least one more game with Pete could be nice, but overall he can run with most any generalist approach, so you can have fun with it there.
FYI, I didn't get the defense dropped on the SP earlier, but it is correct now with 4. |

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Ion @155 points Army Test Map: Custom Units: Ion @155, Pete Stanchek, Charlene Dupre (625) vs Venom (Flash), Winter Soldier (II), Judge Fear (625)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test Map: Custom Units: Ion @155, Jocasta, Red Skull (I), Stan Lee, Blob (800) vs Captain America, Songbird, Winter Soldier (II), Spider-Girl (800)
Spoiler Alert!
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Squishy, but potent. If he sticks around he'll net a few free wounds over the course of the game, which is a pretty good deal for his points. You do have to invest in protecting him though. If Psiots get a good defensive piece, that'd make him easier to play in that faction. Stanchek helps a bit, but he still felt like a good piece to go after first, paired with Stanchek. Re: The Book of Ion (Awaiting Public Testing)
Thanks Ronin. I'm thinking he's probably good to move forward with a 10 point bump. Given the schtick for the Foundation faction will be more defensive in nature, seems like a good idea to skew a tad higher with the potential seen in that last game.

Re: The Book of Ion (Final Editing)
Small suggested rewrite on Bioelectric yadda yadda:
Quote:
In the SA, I'd change up the last couple sentences to: Quote:
That's using Cap's Shield Throw style wording for not attacking the same figure twice - it's slightly less specific, but I've never heard of anyone misunderstanding it. The way you have it, "Figures" being the subject of that last sentence scans oddly to me. |
