Kmgenius's Custom Trees and grass/bushes

I have been browsing the pages of heroscapers for about a year now and I finally got the guts to post my own creations. Hope you like them


This was my very first custom creation. The leaves on top are made from a fake plant that I found at Dollar tree. The trunk is made from "Crayola Air-Dry Clay", this can be found at walmart and is pretty cheap. The boulder on the side of the tree is also made from the same clay. The tall grass can be found below.

This was my second creation I wanted to have double palm trees also. I wish ticalla jungle was cheaper, but these do alright in the mean time. The base is made of cardboard... but hey it works





After playing with these trees for a while I wanted more conventional trees. So I made this one. It is also made out of clay. The green on top is made of several tiny train track trees, there is spanish moss and a couple pebbles on the bottom. My paint job is crappy but it still looks decent.

Here are my bushes/grass. They are made of 3 different colors of green paper that were cut up into small strips. After I had a nice amount I bundled them up and wrapped them in wire. Next I hot glued them to a tile, then glued spanish moss down. They work great, and I think that they look pretty good to.

Here is another tree that I made, this one is made from a stalk of fake leaves from the dollar store, and more of those train track trees.

Air dry Crayola...gutsy. I would not have the gumption to even try that. Don't think they turned out bad at all.

Thanks, they ended up cracking that is why you can see the white.....o well. They work awesome on the battlefield

I made a lot of new things since I last logged on...my bad people...mah bad.. Anyway here is some of the jungle terrain i made. Much better than that junky clay terrain...although, i still use that stuff. :J

Another view. I have more, but this is just as an example in all I ended up making about 7 trees and lots of bushes. They work really well, and I think they look pretty good too.
