Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

$70 per NIB master set is probably fair. $420 isnt quite $500 but I’d imagine thar would be a low enough price to move the cases without being significantly unfair to either party. Great luck with your selling!

Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I have replied to the few IM's I received. From the prices given in those, adjusting Swarm of the Marro boxes down to $70, too, at flameslayer's suggestion. Here's my initial price list. No clue what's fair for shipping. $5 for small character boxes and $10 for the master sets I guess? Someone help me on that, please.

Anyone feel free to clip my wings if any of these prices are jerky. I took the $500 ballpark given above as a general guide. Then, I checked ebay for new versions of these and made mine usually a lot lower than what I found out there. The totals came close to the ballpark given here. Given both avenues of information I've used, I assume these are fair, but, like I said, feel free to correct me if any of these are out of line.

Never sold stuff like this so forgive my clumsiness in this whole process. I'll try to go first come first served giving preference to specific asks from the existing IM's, but please forgive me if anything gets sold out of order. I'll do my best on this. Thanks for putting up with all the nonsense I'm generating here.

Also, I'm willing to meet in person if you're in the DFW area.

Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

6 of the expansions are now sold - I quickly discovered Fields of Valor is in high demand. Apologies for all the turn downs on those. Here is the updated list. Also, went to FedEx last night and found that shipping is crazy expensive. If it puts anyone off, I don't blame you, but they quoted me $37 to ship a master set to the coast from Dallas and $30 for 6 expansion boxes. I'm sure fewer expansions would be cheaper.

What's left:
Master sets:
3 Rise of the Valkyrie master sets : $70 each
3 Swarm of the Marro master sets : $70 each

Unopened:
Road to the Forgotten Forest expansion set : $40

Jandar's Oath - Kilts and Commandos (2) : $20
Jandar's Oath - Heroes of Nostralund : $20
Jandar's Oath - Monks and Guards : $20
Jandar's Oath - Gorillas and Hounds : $20
Utgar's Rage Flag Bearer : $20
Utgar's Rage - Minute Men and Wolves : $20
Utgar's Rage - Knights & The Swog Rider: $20
Utgar's Rage - Herores of Barrenspur : $20
Dawn of Darkness - Shades and Orcs : $25
Dawn of Darkness - Heroes of Durgeth : $25
Dawn of Darkness - Archers and Kyrie : $25
Thora's Vengeance - Warriors and Soulborgs : $20
Thora's Vengeance - Soulborgs : $20
Zanafor's Discovery - Lawmen and Samurai $30

Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

I wouldn't ship that size of a box with FedEx. Every other option is substantially less expensive. But that's purely up to you, as the seller.

Thanks - just chose them because one is extremely close to my house. I'll look further - I just want to ship it reliably and cheaply.

Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

In my experience, UPS is often the least expensive option. Sometimes it's the USPS. Never FedEx.

Re: Initial feelers on selling my collection

Here's what's left as of right now:

Master sets:
2 Rise of the Valkyrie master sets : $70 each
2 Swarm of the Marro master sets : $70 each

Unopened:
Road to the Forgotten Forest expansion set : $40

Jandar's Oath - Kilts and Commandos (2) : $20

Dawn of Darkness - Archers and Kyrie : $25
Thora's Vengeance - Warriors and Soulborgs : $20
Thora's Vengeance - Soulborgs : $20

Shipping is $35 for 1 or 2 master sets
$25 for up to 4 expansions
Sorry for the high shipping cost. I got sticker shock myself.

Looking at this stuff has me wanting to try to get my teenager to play again. If this doesn't sell here soon, I'll probably pull a few sets back for play variety for myself or try to make more on them from ebay.

The above list is as of right this minute. A few items could go back on if two pending sales fall through, but this is accurate as of right now. Not to be a jerk, but please don't haggle on cost or shipping. I feel like these prices are fair, and I actually took a $15 shipping cost haircut on the one thing I've actually shipped out the door. I want to sell these to people here because I like this community, but I'm not desperate so I'm not taking any more losses on shipping and I feel like these prices are already at family rates.

Still willing to meet anyone locally in the DFW area, too.

I often encourage people to hold onto a piece of the collection for themselves, in case the day comes when they want to play again. Maybe with the kids, maybe even further in the future.
