You may want to check this link to BoV project to make sure you don't do something that has been being done. You may want to be more specific about the map you want to review, such as 2MS+3 expansion requirement. In my opinion, if a map fits BoV requirement and the author thinks it is the best of the best, he/she would nominate it to BoV.

Here is a board that has a custom bridge I made. I also used Teekay's lexan water mat so I could use all of my water tiles to make a waterfall.
