I like this castle a lot. There seems to be plenty of room to fight inside, and I'm always a fan of paving the inner courtyard with road/wallwalk tiles. There does seem to be quite a bit of extreme height opportunites, but you placed them sparingly. At least squads and squads of ranged units can't just sit up there and fire down on everyone.

There seems to be ample cover out in the field, which is a major plus for the attackers. Many people forget to provide hiding spots for the attackers, just trying to build a cool castle, but you didn't get caught up in that routine and thought of the attackers as well as the defenders. Good job!

Other than extensive coverage, the field doesn't really have anything exceptional going for it, I see that you house rule two spaced figures traveling down uneven terrain. There is a LOT of uneven terrain, and at least it's all downhill towards the castle.

Really cool castle, I like it a lot. When I get my second castle set I may have to try something similar out...

no, i use the master set rules on DBBL spacers. This is just a diorama.

Now the question is, who here can come over and play me? My rule is, that i never take down a battlefield, no matter how much i want to, until i have played a battle on it (or if i got more terrain )

And btw, this set took
1 ms
2 fota
3 rtff
1 of expansions 1-4 plus
1 extra Minions/Drones
1 extra Greeks/Vipers
1 extra Snipers/Vipers

First thing that caught my eye was the use of trees and ruins for cover. Good coverage with an aesthetic placement. The castle is wide open and easily played. I’ve seen a bunch that as look good, but I’m not sure how you move figures around and heaven help you if there is a LOS question.

My single critical comment is that from the few siege games I’ve played (and heard), the door is a real *****. I always like the alterative entry for non flyers.

Nice work. Look forward to seeing more.
