I would not mind getting in a look at Scorge, I actually thought you guys already had him done as someone suggested I pick up multiples of the figure (uncommon hero?) many months back. However my gaming table is currently the home of some HoSS maps I'm working on for their contest.

The maps could use some play testing themselves though, so if you are okay with me testing your figure on custom maps instead of the approved ones I should be able to get the tests done by sometime next week. If you would prefer the tests be done on official maps though I completely understand, I just wouldn't be in a position to do the tests anytime soon. Just thought it was worth asking you about.

My first thought was that it would be fine, but then I thought no because we have that restriction for a reason & if we break it once it sets a precedence that might be expected more often.

I'd say no. For Sidekicks I wouldn't mind bending the rules a bit, but like you said, they're in place for a reason.

Pass Although Martian Manhunter provides a powerful stall tactic. However the only card this really benefits would be Grundy or Marvel's Thanos as you can shuffle your scourge around while waiting for your figures to come back from the dead.

I liked the cost of the unit and really liked playing several of them with spectre.
- Give a brief overview. Hide in plain sight and intangibility made this team tough to get in on and low life units could either be sacrificed to power up the scourge or left to die to power up spectre. This left the criminal team with few options and I felt like they were behind the entire game.
Map: Swamp Lab
Units: Spectre, Scourge of the Underworld X 6 (1550) VS Doctor Octopus, Captain America, Lexcorp Security Agents X 2, Killer Croc, Mysterio, Mysterio Holographs, Parasite, and Clayface (1545)
After fanning out the scourge I would dump all my order markers on 1 of them and try to wear down the life of my opponents figures while the rest were protected by hide in plain sight. I able to use secrets protected once and had a really lucky roll against Killer Croc taking him out of the game before he could do too much damage. I let the rest of my units die to buff up Spectre's attack who rolled above average throughout the game. Even though I felt like it was a loosing game for the criminals the end result was still pretty close. I just feel like Spectre and the scourge were able to stay ahead throughout the match.

Spectre with 8 wounds.

- Give a brief overview.This Game was to see how effective the scourge could be when paired with Marian Manhunter. Manhunter's telepathic directive gives them disengage when they are moved by it allowing them to trigger hide in plain sight more often by avoiding engagements. This proved to be quite effective as Grundy was revived three times during the game.

Units: Scourge of The Underworld X6, Solomon Grundy, and Martian Manhunter (1490) VS Ra's Al Ghul, Hand Ninja X3, Elite League Assassins, Man-bat Assassins, Winter Soldier, Azrael, and X-23 (1485)
Spoiler Alert!
This team could be overpowered but I would have to play it a few more times to be sure. I could have just been getting lucky with grundy's resurection rolls and what not. Also playing this match on Swamp lab made it really easy to bring grundy back with full health each time. All that aside Martian Manhunter was very hard to pin down with his intangibility and a lack of flying cards in Ra's army. I also suicided too many of my ninja's to take down Grundy only to have him come back to life 2 rounds later. Man hunter also used his air superiority to grab height advantage on many of his attacks while making it more difficult for people to chase after him. The Scourge did not roll a single attack die the entire game but were constantly being shuffled around the battlefield with telepathic directive or standing by while grundy smashed the would-be assassins to a pulp.

Who won and how many wounds did they have?
The Scourge won this won with 1 wound on Grundy, 3 wounds on Martian Manhunter, and 4 scourge with no wounds.

Good to see he is reflective enough to notice where he made less-than-optimal moves in his tests. That should mean he will be a more effective playtester as he moves forward.

It appears that DocGlock made a mistake & tested them only at 150 points. Even from those results though 170 doesn't look inconceivable.

Yeah, testing them at 150 basically gave them a 120 (6x20 points) advantage each game. So if they were tested at 170, the other team could have had 120 more points and that could have made the difference in the first game, it could have made the second game closer.

We'll have to see what the other playtests show when tested at 170. If they have bad showings, then maybe a drop to 160 could be in order. But we'll have to see first.
