Western PA Winter Tournament

It looks like February 2nd it is. I will set it up with the Gamemaster's Realm.

Tournament format:
Swiss style, winners play winners and the loser of each match will play the other losers of that round,
5 rounds total, 45 minute rounds,
One on one death matches.

Scoring will be like we did in the last tournament, and the tournament before. You get either a check of a win or a loss on the papers provided and then you count up your points you have left on the field (including wounded heroes for example, a Q9 with 2 wounds is only worth 90 points, a Krav squad with one figure left is worth 33 points, etc.) This scoring will be a tie breaker for final placement where you add the amount to your point score of the total points you have left if you win. Or you subtract the amount your opponent has if you lose.

Armies:
You are expected to bring 500 point armies, your own dice, order markers, wound markers, and any other special stuff you need for your army. Also the army is limited to 24 spaces for the starting zone.

No customs are permitted but repaints of official figures are welcome and encouraged. Proxies of official currently released figures are also permitted. Marvel Heroscape figures are permitted.

Tournament fee will be 5 dollars and bring a prize for the prize table. The five dollars pays the guy that owns the store for allowing us to use his facilities.

The tournament sign in will be at 11:00 and it will be starting at 12:00 this time, so that we have plenty of time to finish it, and so people will not be rushing to get out of there for their Saturday evening arrangements.

I will be starting a new job in Jan, and I think the schedule is made 2 months in advance. While that sounds too crazy to be true, I believe it to be the case and I won't know when I'm going to be free.

If you decide on a date afore I start, I may be able to request it. I don't now what the request policy is either.

So, based on the poll I know my birthday, 3/4, is on a Tuesday. That sucks.

I'm a Heroscaper from Buffalo. I'll subscribe to this thread to keep tabs on your decision for dates in Feb/March, but I'd like to come out to my first event. You guys are commutable from here....so....

Hahaha! Yes, it is probably the worst in the January/February time frame for coldness. Missed you again Hendal. We will have one later in the summer/fall.
