The figure used for this unit is Ogre from the Blood of Gruumsh box set from the D&D Dungeon Command line.

This figure uses a large single-spaced base.

Character Bio: Pel isn't your typical hill giant. A bit on the small side, and not a skilled or disciplined fighter, Pel makes up for his weaknesses with brute strength equal to that of any other giant. He feels equally at home with Dreadguls or Death Chasers, as long as he gets to cause mayhem with his axe.

LAZY
If Pel is engaged, he cannot move normally.

HEAVY AXE
Pel cannot make leaving engagement attacks against small or medium figures.

-Q: If Pel moves into engagement during his normal move, can he continue moving?
A: No. The Lazy power is checked at all times, not just at the beginning of movement. As soon as Pel becomes engaged he cannot move normally.

I really need to break this guy out soon. Both the Dreadguls and the Death Chasers are some of my favorite squads. I wonder who I'll like pairing him with better?

This guy is seriously fun to play with! Despite his negative abilities, they are thematic and fun!

Both sound like fun at 500 points.

I do like really well made drawback abilities. With Pel you get a slightly beefier Crixus (without Spartacus, but that's a different +200 points story), but at only 5 points more thanks to the negative powers. And their theme works!

To rebase, or not to rebase?

I feel like his original D&D base is just a tad too big... But I hesitate to rebase him because he goes to another game directly. I haven't gotten the chance to play Blood of Gruumsh - would it really matter if he was rebased? Thanks!

Having played Dungeon Command, if you want to easily swap him and out of Scape and DC, I'd put him on a Deathwalker Base. Or you can trim it down. The unit should be a 2x2 one. Easy transition.
