Here's a link to some dice tower plans, so you could make them from foam core. Ketch actually made one using these plans, and made it from wood, but that's a heck of a lot more work. I wouldn't do it on a dare.

Here's the link:

DICE TOWER PLANS

If you make one, post pictures!

I'm finishing off my third tower today.

First one is a bit lumpy, being the first one I ever made. I'm calling it my official heroscape tower since I used HS art for the outer wraps. Interior is completely flannel lined for sweet soft dice sound.

Second and third were done with the assistance of Tyr and his wife. Hers has burgundy flannel on the interior and pink floral pattern on the outside. It's all cloth so it has a soft and fuzzy feel to it. She's planning on adding a lot of cutesy details to it.

Third, for Tyr, is lined with a cotton print of dragons and flames. It rolls a bit louder than the flannel lined ones. On the outside is a wrap designed by a friend of his at work.

My next one will be my tower of choice. I'm working on the final design now. It will be a castle theme with rusted battlements and lighted windows.

MrBarkypants Woo who?
I made one out of oak. Unless you are a whiz with the router, I highly reccommend softer wood. I ended up with one of the slats off a little bit and every now and again a die or 2 gets stuck. Make sure you make it big enough to handle larger custom dice. (Hint Hint -- to the almighty maker of custome dice)

I'd be the Tyr that Giark is talking about.

Sooner or later, I'm going to make a second one out of wood with much more custom work on it. Windows that show the dice falling is a must.

Has been away for quite a while. But is back now.

Hey, Browncoat! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this time. What you did with the VW box was amazing, keep up the good work.

Wow, Giark! I like Tyr's. Very nice dragon.

~Neko: Leaving, sadly. I hope to see you all around. =^-^=

Tyr picked out that design on the cloth at Walmart. He had a friend at his work put the dragon on the tower wrap.

Are those wood or foamboard? My oak one looks nice, but its flawed. I bought some foam to try one of those.
