Custom Map Wanted!!!!

My friends n i just started playing about a month ago........we have 2 ms, 1 rtff, 1 Lava, 1 TT, 1 castle and a bunch of wave expansions

we cant think of good maps to create

if neone could help us out thatd b great!!

Just do what I do--just start slapping tiles together! Too many people post wanting maps. Why don't you just build one and try it? It's fun. I have almost never used anyone else's maps. I just build it and play it and if I like it I keep it. If I don't I modify it. That is half the fun.

weve tried building so many times.......but it always ends up w/ one team or player always having a huge advantage.........i wasnt necessarily asking for a custom map...rather than someone who has the same pieces who alreay made one or has ne good ideas

I was already working on a 4 player map as it was, so I added a castle set to what I was already working on and this is what I came up with. I have the .pdf and .hsc file if you are interested.

You could also try going to the downloads section. There are a lot of cool maps in there available for your building needs.

the best way to build maps from scratch is to start in the middle....put some tiles together and see how it starts developing..than branch out from that center area on all sides ...if you are looking for symetry it is easy to obtain by doing this since you just extend it evenly on all sides...

I am not a huge fan of symetry because I take the notion that if this is taking place in Valvalla I dont think that the terrain on one side of a bridge is the mirror image of the other side...unless it is all flat of course

My favorite part of the game is building the maps...my son and I usually build them the night before we play so we have time to tactically plan our strategy and army selections in accordance to the terrain and our start zones...the nice thing about playing with 4 people is you can play the same map numerous times by simply reassigning the starting zones if you map is not symetrical
