New Door Mechanics
I was trying to think of a way to make a door behave the way a few of the doors did in the LOTR movies, which were stronger when people were inside holding them shut manually. This is what I came up with, hope you like it.
Reinforced Worn Door: The door starts the scenario closed. It has 2 defense and 5 life. If a figure stands on either of the spaces directly inside the door, they may reinforce the door by adding defense dice to the door’s roll: Small 1 small figure = +0 2 small figures = +1 1 small and 1 medium = +1 1 small and 1 large = +2 1 small and 1 huge = +3 Medium 1 medium = +1 2 medium = +2 1 medium and 1 large = +3 1 medium and 1 huge = +4 Large 1 large = +2 2 large = +3 1 large and 1 huge = +4 Huge 1 huge = +3 2 huge = +5 However, if an attack kills the door, then the figures holding the door must roll defense against the extra skulls (the number of skulls more than the shields rolled by the door). This is to simulate the force driven through the door and the shrapnel from the door. Note: I apologize for the defensive scale in reinforcing the door. There are some obvious flaws in the defense added, particularly in the fact that (1 med + 1 huge) = (1 large + 1 huge), but in order to keep the defense from getting too out of hand, it just had to be. Feel free to make adjustments you feel necessary. |

I was thinking this might be a good idea for a rule. I think that going by combined hight might work like for evey 4 or 5 combined hight of the figures holding the door add 1 def just a thought.

I like this idea. It could work. It's just needs a little work.
