It seems that a possible key piece of text might have been skimmed over in the description of the castle/ruins. It mentions a castle in the clouds. My immediate thought was are we getting some sort of cloud terrain?

I’m not sure that’s a digital render. To me it looks like they used a 3D printer and printed in orange resin, which is quite common in boardgaming. In fact I still have a set of orange prototype figures for my game Aftermath.

I'm almost certain that image is from the materials they're putting together for the crowdfunding campaign. I expect that is the final color the figure will be.

Everything is of course speculation until the campaign begins, or officials have clearly stated the final plastic colors. This doesn’t look like a digitally rendered model to me, it looks like a physical 3D print. Because this image does look like a promotional image, I’m almost inclined to believe this is a potential final color for this model’s faction. This kind of thing can change right up until the manufacturing begins. Orange is an interesting color choice, regardless.

Zoomed in to full resolution, that looks like a digital render to me, rather than a photo of a physical product. Some of those edges look very crisp and sharp, and the curved surfaces very smooth. Not sure even top-quality 3D printers can get results that perfect, though I'm not an expert.
