We had a debate once in a different thread as to what classifies as a cyborg and I think the consensus was the character has to be about 50% machine, but there is no hard and fast rule for this.

And although I'm not sure on the personality, I would assume its meant to both portray his emotionally distant personality and convey his deep freeze storage in a single word.

I do think we tussled with the idea of doing Cold as a Winter Guard/former Soviet Union tie for a while there? Pretty sure we dropped it though.

Yeah our cyborgs are typically computer-linked or mostly robotic. I'd have trouble calling Bucky a cyborg much like I'd have trouble calling anyone with a prosthetic limb or pacemaker a cyborg. That's me personally though.

Bucky can remove his cyborgy bits without dying, which I think is a good dividing line.

Like the species Cyborg is for dudes who's life processes are now both organic and technological to some degree. Not for dudes with fancy prosthetics.
