That may be true in your area... Around me it more like this:
Walmart - Wave 5 Uniques only, and it been that way since Christmas
Target - No expansions at all, a couple of MS
Shopko - a few MS, a couple wave 6 expansions
Fred Meyer - A few MS, castles and Bone Dragon expansions
Toys 'R Us - A few MS, a several Wave 5 Uniques
Local Game Store - Some castles, a few Wave 5 Uniques, and some Tundra (I think)

Sandra actually just filled my house with snakes (I mean that in a good way) because of that deal. If you're looking for that set, that's a fine price. Also, HouseMouse generally makes this available a little sooner than HasbroToys.com, so its a better way to get the newest stuff. Having used both, the only other advantage I've noticed is that HouseMouse has a better system for tracking your shipment. I know to the hour when my stuff will arrive. For some reason HasbroToys.com doesn't provide as much tracking info, so you're left with a bit of an estimate. That said, I've used both and they both achieve the same result. Nothing wrong with either choice, IMO.

My area sounds like Will T's.

HouseMouseGames.com lets you order whatever you want without constantly checking stores and wasting a lot of time and gas. If you want to add something specific to your collection (like say, 3+ packs of Gruts at once), then its definitely the best way to go, IMO
They wouldnt happen to have Wave 1, Heroes of Bleakwoode, would they?

That is the only one I am missing besides the elusive Wave 3.

Give them nothing! But take from them everything!

Sorry to say this, but the best place to find Wave one is from HouseMouse or Hasbro. It will be cheaper than wasting the gas going to all the stores to pick it up.

Target has had some pretty good sales I got the game for $27.00 and all of wave 5 for $8 each. They have been selling wave 6 for $10.00. Walmart had a lot of stuff on clearance after the holidays so I got fort thing for $15.00. They have had wave 5 for $10, yesterday I noticed that one had some wave 1 and wave 6. Kmart, KB toys and Toys-r-us all sell expansions at 12.95, they only seem to have wave 5. Except Toy-r-us which had some wave 4.
