Units required: Kaemon Awa, Izumi Samurai

Take turns advancing the Izumi Samurai and Kaemon Awa, keeping Kaemon Awa behind the Samurai, who act as bodyguards. Don't advance too quickly with Kaemon Awa, use his range of seven. His Quick Release Special Attack comes into play when the enemy comes to counter your attacks. The Counterstrike of Kaemon Awa and his Izumi friends may discourage your enemy from engaging them, allowing your group to retreat, reposition, or attack at their leisure.

Tagawa Samurai may be used in place of the Izumi Samurai, but the Izumi are cheaper for the same defence. Since Kaemon Awa will be doing most of the attacking, the higher attack of the Tagawa Samurai is not necessary.

This ploy will be even better in larger armies with Kato Katsuro in Wave 8!

Yeah, it will be the equivalent of calling an audible in football. Pile the markers on Katsuro and move the Samurai or Kaemon, whichever will be more helpful.

I think I'll switch out the templar for the tagawa because I don't have them

Iam an unorthadox player, I use marvel and normal, right now I'm liking a vangaurd army, with venom and shiori, for 400 points.
