Announcing ScapeCon II: July 13 -- July 17

I'm really looking forward to seeing the map pool(s).

We have an extra space at the house we rented for scapecon if someone’s looking for an inexpensive place to stay and also staying with two other scapers. Total of $155 for the four nights.

A few quick announcements regarding maps:

1. The ScapeCon II Map Pool will be released on or before June 11th. This will give people a month to try the maps. This isn't ideal, but it is what it is given my schedule.

2. The ScapeCon II Map Contest should be posted very soon. We were happy to include three maps from the contest in last year's map pool, and we hope this contest once again results in some interesting, unique, and balanced maps. The due date for submissions will be May 7th.

Very soon as in tonight after I get done with hockey. I'm out west, so it will be pretty late for the east coast.

Just curious if the OP list is updated? or if we're still at 43 attendees?

I believe the list is current with the exception of two - one day badges that have been sold for Saturday. We expect at least 2 more attendees to bring the total to 45 (47 for Saturday.)

The menu is set and will be posted soon. Dice are in and are being painted and/or shipped to those who have volunteered to help paint.

T-Shirt design is done and sizes will be requested in the next few days; we need to order by 5/27 for best pricing.

Hotel block expires on 6/12; be sure to book by then if you need a room. No charge room cancellations can be made 24 hours before event starts so there is no risk if your plans change.

Sad to say, you can take Hendal and Mike Flak off the maybe list, just not going to happen this year. Good Luck to All.

I can PM you if we use the company I think we're using (I don't know who; my dad's on that duty this year). Last year I just used a local print shop, and they turned out great. I would not recommend using a big company like Custom Ink (like you can, but they're just kinda overpriced).
