The Book of Titan
The Book of Titan C3G IMAGE WAVE 40 WAR OF THE INDEPENDENTS Comic PDF Mini PDF Alternate comic card options
Spoiler Alert!
The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Invincible Collector's Set set. Its model number and name are #006 / Titan. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Titan was a fairly small time mob enforcer, with the ability to build a super powered rock shell around his body. After some time of working under the boss Machine Head, he decided that the criminal life wasn't for him, and turned on Machine Head, tipping off the authorities. He fought with Invincible against Machine Head's forces, earning himself some leniency with the law. Of course, this was all part of his master plan, and Titan then took control of Machine Head's syndicate, proving himself to be a more cunning strategist than anyone had expected. He still retained a sense of morals, decided not to participate when other crime lords banded together to commit atrocities in the name of vengeance on the Guardians of the Globe, and also didn't hesitate to team up with Invincible more times when the well-being of innocents was on the line. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
NAME = TITAN
SECRET IDENTITY = N/A SPECIES = MUTATE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = CRIME LORD PERSONALITY = DRIVEN SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 6 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 3 POINTS = 280 TITAN SHELL Start the game with 3 brown Titan Shell Markers on this card. Add one to Titan's Attack and Defense numbers for each Titan Shell Marker on this card. While there is a Titan Shell Marker on this card, if Titan would receive one or more wounds from an enemy figure, ignore one of those wounds. Anytime Titan receives one or more wounds, remove a Titan Shell Marker from this card. ROCK ON! At the start of each round, add one Titan Shell marker to this card, to a maximum of 3. CRIMINAL AMBITION After revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Titan, if he inflicted one or more wounds on an opponent's figure with his normal attack this turn, you may take an immediate turn with any Crime Lord Hero or Criminal Hero you control within clear sight of Titan. Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
Looks solid. He's an offensive and defensive powerhouse for sure. Ignoring a wound with each marker and recharging them each round means you really have to focus on him to put him down. I think I'd use him with Street Thugs in case he starts losing Titan Skin markers, so you can switch to another bonding hero.

It doesn't, we cleared it up on Discord.

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
Yeah, this guy is looking pretty tough. Hood might actually be a good pairing as well, since they both obviously want the same thing. Lead with Titan, then when he has 1 or 2 markers left, retreat (using markers to ignore LEAs) and bring in Hood to replace him. Seems pretty sick.

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
Yep they're still a solid pair I think. Them two, another Crime Lord, and a few Street Thugs seems pretty solid.

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
You're going to have a hard time getting me excited about A Another Criminal Synergy piece, but... the card seems solid enough. He looks like a tough bastard, so he'll be quite fun.

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
Tough one to estimate. I'd probably start him around 300 and see how that feels, though?
Rock solid for sure! I think his synergy is honestly really a throw in. The rock skin is the soul of the card (and what will make him a terror). C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
I feel like we can probably fold Rock On into the first power? Not like it's overly complex as-is.
Seems like fun, cool to see some growth in the Invincible department. Maybe even put together a little SSE for when the cartoon premieres? JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Titan (Breathing)
Not sure he'll hit 300. I'm thinking mid-200's. Sure he has some beefy stats, but still just a slow single attacker. Once he takes a couple hits he'll drop (like a rock hurr hurr). Also of note The Hood is probably MUCH better equipped to handle Criminal Ambition with his range and occasional flying. A Cap army with Hood, Titan, and another Criminal or Crime Lord might be fun.
I want to keep the Rock On power just because he uses that as a cheesy catch phrase in the book, obviously parodying Human Torch. But I won't fight it if everyone wants to drop it. I propose we move to Initial Testing |
