Mariedian Deathwatch
One of the hallowed commando teams from Alpha Prime. They are known for their infiltration techniques and their specially modified armor and weapons which reek havoc on Soulborg Patrols and heavy weapons. This specific team accompanied their master, Commander Vindicare, to help him and Jandar with Soulborg threat growing in Valhalla.....

Ah it's not suppose to be their ^_^. I like the freedom a player gets with Deathwatch, being able pinpoint 1 figure from different heights and ranges allows for a neat commando ambush attacks.

For the 7 spaces away attack, you should have it read

"If they are 7 or more spaces away"

Incase you have a glyph or another creature that makes their ranged increased.

That's understandable, but the difficulty comes from determining if/when the defender gets height advantage, since he could be higher than one or two attackers, but lower than the other(s). See Roman Archers and Zombies of Morindan.

I really don't think there is a need for "or more away" clause, they only have a range of 7 and they must be exactly 7 spaces away to get the bonus.

Hmm.... true, maybe a clause like say "enemy figures never add height advantage to their defense roll when targeted by converge fire special attack".

I underrstand Kinseth's point but they need to be exactly 7 spaces away to gain the bonus anyway so why would the clause be really necesscary . ^_^

I underrstand Kinseth's point but they need to be exactly 7 spaces away to gain the bonus anyway so why would the clause be really necesscary . ^_^
...huh? If you added the clause and they somehow got more than 7 Range, they'd still get the bonus for hitting more distant targets. If you don't add the clause and they end up with additional range, they will not get the bonus for hitting people more than 7 spaces away. See the difference? The clause enables you to shoot guys 7, 8, and 9 spaces away with an extra die, while as is, you can only bring an additional die against someone exactly 7 spaces away, no matter how far they can shoot.
