It is meant to be multiple dogs can move, as long as they are adjacent to the defending figure. I thought I asked once if the correct wording was any or all for this type of thing, but I can't seem to find that question now. Maybe I just asked myself....

DOG TRAINER
Dog and Wolf figures you control add 1 to their Move numbers, and if you revealed an Order Marker on this card this player turn, add 1 to their Attack numbers. After attacking with Mutt, you may move (any or all) Dog or Wolf figure that is adjacent to the defending figure up to 4 spaces each, during which they do not take leaving engagement attacks.

Which would be better to convey the correct meaning?

I would say “move each dog or wolf figure that is adjacent”. Think each is the word you want there.

There's a "you control" missing from Dog Trainer in the second sentence - he can move enemy Dogs as-is.

This also does remind me, I do wish we'd just condense Dog and Wolf to Canine or something, but that's not really an issue specific to this card... and probably not something I'm going to actually chase after since I'd drive myself mad dealing with all the wonky species in C3G if I started down that road.
