Re: Dice preferences

I love the Ullar Dice. Nothing like rolling all shields for Acolorh's Special Ability and then all bugs when whiffing attack or defense.

I also like the sound that Valkyrie dice make on the table. We usually use whatever general best matches our army.

What do Gencon dice look like?
Cleon showcases them in this Youtube clip.

Use a dice tower.

Guess I'm getting back into Scape

Re: Dice preferences

We always use the flagbearer dice, simply because the symbols won't wear with use over time.

Many of our original white dice are almost worn blank.

Well that's a bummer. All of my dice to my knowledge are just fine.

Re: Dice preferences

I use the 1st gen Red/Blue dice, with little bits of metal impla...
Wait, no I don't. I never said that.

I almost always use the Utgar dice, just 'cause they're so cool. Though they tend to screw with my game in the tourney scene, as a few of the WI crowd can testify to.

The combat dice are a little bland, compared with the Valkyrie dice.

After loading and before posting, roll the twenty-sided die.
On a 1, Therion makes a long and/or irritating post.
On a 2-15, Therion may not post this turn.
On a 16+, post normally.

Re: Dice preferences

I used to use only the first generation dice, then realized that the paint was starting to come off. I don't like the weight of the Valkyrie dice very much, they seem very light for their size.

I'm a huge fan of these.

Each of them have three skulls, two Colts horseshoes and a blank side, which is what I count if ever I use a flagbearer.

You can see more shots of them here, along with Captain Canuck's custom dice.

Re: Dice preferences

I use a lego dice tower when I feel fancy, but I usually just roll by hand. I wish I had flagbearers, but until then (never, judging by my allowance) I'll be stuck with the original white ones.
