The figure used for this unit is a Star Wars figure from the Bounty Hunters set. Its model number and name are #10/Rebel Captain.

Character Bio - In the Rebel Alliance, the rank of Captain, depending on the time period, either occurred between Lieutenant and Commander (such being the case pre-Battle of Hoth) or between Lieutenant and Lieutenant Commander (post-Battle of Hoth). The design of the rank likewise depended on the time period. Pre-Battle of Hoth, it was a silver patch that had three yellow bumps placed in a way that resembled an upside down triangle. Post-Battle of Hoth, the rank possessed gold-trim borders and had two red bumps, one being at the topmost-center, and the other being on the bottommost-center, similar to the earlier design of the rank of Captain pre-Battle of Hoth.

- Take a single turn with up to 4 Common Squad figures you control that have the Hold Steady Special Power, during which the chosen figures may only attack
Figures chosen for Rebel Assault must be within 5 clear sight spaces of this Rebel Captain. At the end of your turn, you may place the Hold Steady marker on the Army Card of one of the chosen figures.

REBEL COMMAND
Any figure you control that has a Hold Steady Marker on its Army Card and is within 5 clear sight spaces of at least one Rebel Captain you control may add 1 to its Range number.

Going to 5 attacks/turn is definitely a big improvement for the Rebels, but I imagine they still really struggle against storm troopers.

They do well against the Imps unless they Captains die. The Rebels tend to fall apart without their Captain.

Where are those transmissions you intercepted? WHAT have you DONE with those plans?

I think I'm going to add 1 or 2 of these guys to the Tantive scenario and see it the Rebels can hold out better.

So when Rebel Troopers attack during the captain's turn, is it their turn too? Otherwise there could be some turn stacking issues.

No, because the card does not tell you to "take a turn" with the Rebel Troopers. It tells you to move some figures or to attack with some figures, much like Sir Gilbert's Jandar's Dispatch.

We've reviewed the text of Rebel Assault and the design history. We had quite a lot of versions of Rebel Captain before we finalized on this one. We originally had the "Omegacron language" in there for the attack option, but if fell off at some point in the revisions and we missed it. Nice catch guys!

So Rebel Assault will be updated with the "Omegacron language" as follows:

REBEL ASSAULT
