Character Bio: The Knaves of the Silver Scimitar each come from a society strict in its own ways - a designated role for each of them to play under mightier commanders. Plucked from the brink of death by the Valkyrie General Revna, they expected to be subject to a new and equally strict command, but were given only one: be free.

This freedom has extended far. United by the gleaming silver blades Revna has gifted them, they sail alongside any others willing to choose freedom over service. Whether it was kindness or trickery, the Knaves care not; when the final battle for Valhalla comes, they will repay their debt to Revna.

THE CAPTAIN'S WAY
At the start of the game, choose a Unique Captain you control to be the Knaves of the Silver Scimitar's Captain for this game. Knaves of the Silver Scimitar roll one additional defense die against attacks from non-adjacent figures when their chosen Captain is within 4 clear sight spaces.

CAPTAIN'S ORDERS
Before taking a turn with the Knaves of the Silver Scimitar, you may first take a turn with their chosen Captain or a Pirate Hero you control.

FIRST ASSAULT 1
When attacking with a Knave of the Silver Scimitar, if the defending figure was not adjacent to that Knave of the Silver Scimitar at the start of this turn, that Knave of the Silver Scimitar receives 1 additional attack die.

DISENGAGE
Knaves of the Silver Scimitar are never attacked when leaving an engagement.

Character Bio: Knaves of the Silver Scimitar give no quarter and expect none in return. Members of the Silver Scimitar take contracts based on the promise of whetted blades and scores of plunder, and Valkyrie Revna promises this in spades. For the Knaves of the Silver Scimitar, ideals like honor and code are just foolish words used by other members of the Dawn Raider Syndicate who lack the stomach. These rapscallions draw steel even before the order is given to attack, raiding with a taste for bloody carnage and hunger for the quick kill. And as the warnings of attack sounds alarm, the Knaves disappear once more into the fog of war to stalk their next victims and hunt more loot.

First Assault 1 and Disengage make such a great power combination! A very fun and frantic unit (for as long as it lasts). I have yet to decide who their favourite captain / pirate hero is.
