The Book of Agent Hunter
The Book of Agent Hunter C3G IMAGE WAVE 21 DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE Comic PDF Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a Heroscape figure from the Rise of the Valkyrie set. Its name is Krav Maga Agent. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Agent Hunter is another of Cecil Stedman's top agents. Because of his unique ability to heal from virtually any wound, he originally had the nickname of "Agent Invincible" (You know, before that kid came along). When the Astounding Wolf-Man is on the run, being wanted for murder, Cecil sends Hunter after him, knowing that even though Wolf-Man was so strong, Hunter could survive anything that comes his way. He arms himself specifically with silver bullets, just in case those old stories about silver hurting the supernatural were true. Even if the stories aren't true, they are still bullets. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter
NAME = AGENT HUNTER
SPECIES = MUTATE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = AGENT PERSONALITY = DETERMINED SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 3 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 5 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 3 POINTS = 130 AGENT INVINCIBLE 13 After taking a turn with Agent Hunter, or when he receives enough wounds to be destroyed, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 13 or higher, remove all Wound Markers from this card and Agent Hunter is not removed from the battlefield. SILVER WEAPONS When Agent Hunter attacks with a normal attack, he may attack one additional time. Undead and Lycanthrope figures roll 2 fewer defense dice against Agent Hunter's normal attack. Re: The Book of Agent Hunter
I'll get some better pictures later, I'll have to go through my Wolf-Man books and scan 'em out.
I really don't care if we fiddle with the mechanics for his Agent Invincible power, he just needs to come back from the dead somehow. So if anyone has a more unique way of doing it that they've been wanting to use but had no place for, there we go. Otherwise I think this'll do fine. |

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
Do silver bullets work in the Invincible comics?

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
Don't know the guy, mechanics look fine except the roll for Agent Invincible might be a little low.

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
13 seems like a nice number for someone who uses silver weapons....

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
Seems solid, but as others mentioned, 11 may be a little low for Agent Invincible.

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
He'll be an interesting one. Not too hard a hitter but he'll have that "annoying ability to stick around" thing going on. He'll probably have to be priced as if he's going to be played with figures like Doomsday, Thanos, and Grundy (especially) just about all the time. Because, otherwise, you'll just always save him as the last figure to kill. He's not too much of a threat offensively, so he'll be easy to ignore, and he comes back so easily that there's no reason to ever kill him early and let him roll for the Agent Invincible power. Put him with a bunch of other resurrection types, though, and he gets much more useful.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Agent Hunter ~~ Design Phase
You'd better have an Agent for my third Krav.
An increase in the die roll is needed here. It's too easy to bring him back. 13 would work for theme. He's not a terribly threatening character, but he could be a pain against lower defense heroes. Like Superheroes and Comics?

It'll also be interesting (and scary) how he might interact with the upcoming Judge Death. Something we should be very wary of!
