The good thing is that Kenntak is still playing his perpetual G chord :P

HQ server is up, but i've not seen any word about the "black-out", nope about the migration here.... i'm feeling a bit "lost".

I didn't know what was happening until today when I got back on the HQ and found the new thread started by ScreamingTruth about the new site.

I'm really starting to get use to this whole moving around thing now since I started on .net, but I'm hoping this will be the last time anyway. Hopefully this site works out. I'm sure it will, though, with who we have running it.

That would be pretty sweet. Somehow, I doubt it though...

It's awesome that the community can stick together even when going through the server moves and site changes. I guess that's the important thing.

I do think that the worst part of the changes are the name and avatar changes. It's like running around a costume and trying to talk to people, but they have all changed masks. And names, in some cases. It's like, you didn't really know these people, but you get used to the identity that they created for themselves.

I made it over! Well, this is now my third HS site. Thanks to GW for hosting HQ for the past year or so, and now to GB and the team for putting up this new site that's responding quite quickly.

So, this is what it's like to move to a new site. I didn't have the experience of being a member of the .net, but can now guess what it was like when that site shut down.
