Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Bats - This has a slight change from your earlier drafts - his starting space does not become water when the OM is revealed. He MUST move under this wording, before the water aura activates.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Yes, but that's needed for a clean on switch, IMO. Actually, though, that was the justification for dropping the OM requirement, since he has to do something active to trigger it still.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
I think that trading the moving into the space trigger for the OM reveal trigger keeps him about the same. I can run a sanity test if folks are worried, but it seems like a pretty fair exchange IMO, while taking care of clarity issues when it comes to interactions with potential other terrain changers.
So I'm going to go back to officially proposing this change: Quote:

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Yea
Not needing the OM definitely makes it better. |

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Yea
As long as the effect stays indefinitely until he moves off of it, should still be decent. Hard to say if the OM requirement will make much of a difference on how he was tested or not. |

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Yea, I think it has a few pluses and minuses such that it should wash out in the end. Just different, not more or less impactful.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
I'll definitely try to run a couple of games with him with the change before release, but I'm not terribly worried. Does let very select match ups overwrite his water, but he just has to move again to change it back.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
The other thing different, as written in the proposal: he always has a water aura after his first move of the game. There is no “off switch” like in 1.0 at the end of a round.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
True. Though I can't ever remember playing him and not having water active. I guess it makes him work a lot better with Order Marker hubs, though.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
If we're worried about power level, could always do like:
SUMMON THE SEVEN SEAS When Aquaman enters a space, that space and all land spaces within 1 space become water. During clean up, or when he leaves that space, the effect ends. While occupying water, when Aquaman makes a normal attack action, he may separately attack any adjacent figures. Then he'd have to move again at the start of the next round to trigger it again, and also if he was camping on lava, he'd feel the effect at the end of the round. What do folks think of that tweak? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Option 1 is more streamlined and only requires remembering if he moved at all during the game. Option 2 is less powerful, if that is a concern, but requires remembering if he moved this round, with no clear marker of the OM as in 1.0.

Re: Aquaman (Arthur Curry) (Justice League)
Yeah, that might be a good safe guard. I did like that the fact it turned off before.
