Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
Thanks for the rule clarification. It felt like I was missing something and doing something wrong. The answer is usually in some obvious place (like on the card), but I don't always see it so asking the experts is the route I often take.
I think Thanos with the gauntlet is formidable if he is with others in an army and can use "Spurned by Death". The ability to use the X om to take an additional turn is huge and if you do it to finish off someone you can then take even another turn with that destroyed character. Since you often know exactly where your opponent's om's are you can try to focus on that and get them to waste some turns. Although I didn't use it, the ability to transport anywhere on the map could be huge as well, in order to escape or reach an advantageous position. Any high powered hero with high life and/or defense who uses the infinity gauntlet with all infinity stones is bound to be a pretty brutal foe. |

Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
How much points would you consider Thanos for if you wanted to play a match where he starts with the Gauntlet and all the Gems? Just a general estimate.

Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
I'd say ~850 is reasonable.

Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
Yeah it's really tricky since if you are doing him against the world he won't get a chance to use Spurned by Death which accounts for a lot of his points but then the Guantlet...I've wondered...and asked...the same question.
Here a page back is one example of someone actually running it... Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
This is why someone needs to design Mistress Death, Nebula, the Blood Brothers, the Black Order, and Terraxia. Not to mention the Thanos Stone Golems. So he can always use Spurned by Death.
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. You know you can start an LD as a retired Hero Spidey.

Re: The C3G Book of Thanos
Looks good.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
