For those that read the graphic novel, does this look like a Sin City level adaptation from what they show in the trailer?

if you have read sin city part 3"the big killing" there was a monolog about the 300 from dright(cut out the movie) year later miller make the 300 comic)

hard to saythe used millers artwork und colors, also most of this pics, but some scens are new. it will not be a 1:1 like sin city.

the pics look like more like miller and his wife had copy old greek pics.

I just read it yesterday, and most of the scenes from the trailer look to be almost EXACTLY the same. I did a little research and found out that the graphic novel, while he did take some artistic liberties, it was pretty historically accurate, like the quote about the arrows blocking out the sun and the spartan saying "Then we will fight in the shade" was apparently really said during the conflict.

The graphic novel is historically accurate in the same way that the movie "The last samurai" is - and even then the contrast is stark - the depiction of Samurai is about 90% accurate - the depiction of the Spartans in "300" is almost completely wrong - they got the gender right, not much else.

Yeah! But in the trailer - before the king pushes the messenger down the well - he turns and looks at his wife for approval. That doesn't happen in the graphic novel.
