Bonding?

I am new to Heroscape and I was reading some of the forums and I see some people talking about 2 units "Bonding". What do you mean when they "Bond" do they get special bonus's?

Its a special power:

Before taking a turn with <unit>, you may take a turn with <Specific species and/or class>

Look at the orcs, the romans, the greeks and a couple others

Look up the knights of weston, macdirk warriors, Marrden Nagrubs for examples of bonding.

Look up the Nakita Agents for examples of Movement Bonding

Look up the Minions of Utgar for examples of "crappy bonding"

Some are just movement bonding though. Like the Nakita and Gorillanators.

*Edit
Woops. This was already pointed out by AmishBurrito.

They'd be pretty overpowered if they had regular bonding.

Then again, maybe Taelord's price would be a bit more reasonable if they did.

~Billtog, who doesn't think Taelord costs too much
