I can roll with that. Either way, a more expansive FAQ that includes that justification would be nice here.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Well it makes thematic sense, and the card does say "may."

It does make sense to let them go for sure. "Immovable" also has "may" in it, but there was still a line added at the end that says that the player controlling him can let him be moved. I think back when Blob was done, we may have used " may not" instead of "cannot" because we were still raw.

Question
So Blob can't be moved by any special movement power on an army card. Can he be moved by say the Electromagnetic Rings since it doesn't specify glyph? This feels weirdly unthematic to me but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks.

I would say no, he cannot be moved, as the power for the glyph is on its Army Card. These powers usually state "Army Card or glyph" for clarity though.

That's cool! So here is a FAQ that clarifies this.
  • Q: Blob's special power of Immovable states he cannot be moved by any special power on an army card, but does not specify glyphs. Can Blob be moved by a glyph, such as the Glyph of Makluan Electromagnetic Rings?
  • A: Yes. Blob is not immune to glyphs that have movement powers. The same is true for figures affected by Blob's Stuck special power.

I don't think this is how special powers work? It's just a static power so it's always on I thought. There's no choice involved.
