Grab 'em here: http://www.housemousegames.com/letema.html Because of this I'll be removing my larger files from my web site. Read more on the last page. 04-30-07 Update: As you may know by now, Cavalier has made the water mats available to HeroScapers for $7 each! Grass and Ice mats coming soon! Check here for more details: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ead.php?t=7971 02-17-07 Update: Add ArgosCap's excellent Marro tile (letter) pattern to my web page. Grab it now! 02-13-07 Update: To get a jump on the upcoming Master Set 2, I've added a JUNGLE tile pattern to the downloads section and on my web site as well. You can also grab the JUNGLE WATER tile pattern, titled SWAMP, which has been available for awhile now. 01-20-06 Update: 11 new pattern tile mats have been added to the Downloads section under "bin-o-goodies" These mats are 8.5"x11" so print as many as you need. 01-02-06 Update: Updated grass pattern mat to remove noticable seems. Updated blank #2 to include hex designation marks. Added rock mat. 12-26-06 Update: Added Road mat to my web page. 12-23-06 Update: Added additional mats to my web page; grass (patterned) and blank #2. Regained access to large-format printer--made a mat 15" x 40"--everything seems to match up! 12-19-06 Update: Added additional mats to my web page. 12-10-06 Update: Mats correctly revised and scaled 99.408% from original postings. NOTE: HeroScape hex pieces are not a common size; the snow and land is one size, the road tiles are slightly bigger, and water tiles are larger still. Depending on your map construction, the pieces may or may not fit extactly to map grid. ===== If you're looking to cover a LOT of space without using tiles, give these a try. Water (mat_36x60f_water.pdf) 3 MB Sand (mat_36x60f_sand.pdf) 25.8 MB -- made pattern non-repeating Grass (mat_36x60f_sand.pdf) 800 KB -- repeating pattern ...and many more! those would be awesome if they were printer on felt and had about 6 inches all around with no print.

Those are nice!
I have one suggestion however ... Make 'em sparkly! From This: To This: Quote:
Seriously though, put me down for Water if mass printing does come to fruition! Just because you're offended, it doesn't make you right.

good idea. You know these could easily be printed on Felt sheets with a big silk screen. Could use photo emulsion on a large screen. Expose it to UV. spray off the unhardened emulsion, and you could crank out about 100 or 200 of these with the same screen. Cost would be relativly cheap as well. If you wanted the shading and sparkly look, you would have to shoot two screen for each color, or use a halftoning in the sparkles. Most likely would have to be printed on white felt thou, unless you laid down a mat of white first.
Actually, they have this cloth at walmart that looks like water. You could just silkscreen a hex outline pattern over it. It looks like real water already, with reflective sparkles in it. I use it for pirates of the spanish main, but would look great for HS as well. I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken. |
