Chaos in The Capital - A NY Tourney 12/01/07

Ok, this is gonna be my attempt at getting tourney together. It is set in stone.

Just some general details so far:

Where - My Work. We have a decent sized training room that should accommodate about 10 maps and about 20 players. You can bring food or you can get food here. Lots of places close by that deliver or are 5 minutes away. When I'm preparing for a tourney I like to eat wood, thumb tacks, and rusty nails. It makes me feel tough.

When - Saturday December 1st. It's free entry and will start at 12:00PM. End time should be around 5-6PM.

Format - Swiss Style with 500 points per player. 50 minutes per round. 4 rounds. No Marvel will be included. This is gonna be a Classic Scape Tourney. No glyphs will be used. Unlimited starting spaces.

You receive points per figure killed. If you only kill 1 Marrden Hound, you would only receive 30 points. If you kill the whole squad,you would get 90 points. If you kill your opponents entire army, you get a full 500 points, even if they didn't have 500 to start with. All matches are kill' em all style.

What You Need To Bring - Your own 500 point army. Your own wound counters, turn markers, and dice. I will have some extras just in case anyone forgets. I also have 5 dice towers that I will be bringing in case anyone wants to use them. No, they are not going on the prize table

Prize Support - If you wanna bring a prize, great. If you can't, don't worry about it. It would be nice for everyone to walk away with something, no matter what it is.

Thanks! I'm coming from the south-east corner of Vermont, so the exact location might influence how many others are interested (on the other hand, I have no objections to travelling excessive distances to play). Roughly how far from Albany are you? I'm an hour and forty minutes from Albany, according to mapquest.
