Though I'll be honest and say I really want a game with a new region, and after that you go backwards from one region to the next, similar to Gold?Silver, but with 5(?) regions.

This is Sylveon http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...ok%C3%A9mon%29. There have been rumors that there will be a new pokemon type called light with Sylveon being one of their examples. The type-enhancing items are held items that boost a Pokemon's attack for a certain type move. Here's the type-enhancing item list: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Type-enhancing_item. Notice the polka-dot bow which boosts normal attacks. To me that seems to be like Sylveon's bows on it's body.

Hmmm... Not saying you're wrong, I just don't think light is necessary. I think psychic fills the niche you would expect it to fill, therefore making light redundant and not needed.

Heh - there has been a LOT of speculation about two new types actually, light and sound - or some variation thereof. Not that I'd know - what with Pokemon being a kid's game and all. It's not like I'm buying a 3ds this weekend so I have it in time for X&Y coming out at the end of the year.

Tell that to the people at Smogon or us here at Heroscapers. I didn't know that about a sound type though. Maybe the Whismur line will get a secondary typing.

A new forme for Mewtwo/a new member of the Mew family has been announced:


It is most likely going to be a new forme, as it replaces Mewtwo on the new movie poster, and shares many similarities with it, although it would be better as a brand new Pokemon. I think it looks pretty cool, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for it!

I hope it's Mewthree, I just don't see Mewtwo changing into that ... thing. I like that Mewtwo is coming into the storyline though!
