But the reason is the same reason that the Dragons can't carry items, to balance out their free Flying racial power. If I give them flying I have to take something away, and it would make less sense to take away stats, so items seemed like a good trade off.
Maybe just give them less move? (minions, sentinels, protectors are all move 4)
But Realin/Kelda have move 6, Concan, Taelord, Runa, and Atlaga have move 5

Yea, I'll keep that in mind. Due to the crazy spread of stats that don't align with other figures of the same class, Kyrie will probably have its own Class(es). The Altered Race thing isn't for sure, I just put that there since at the moment the Paladin can basically become a Kyrie by buying Angelic Grace. So later down the road I may choose to turn that into an altered race thing instead of a 2 Point Special Power. But I'm really not even close to touching Kyrie. I was still fuzzy on Kyrie back when I was working on Evolution of a Hero.

We can worry about Kyrie and having items when we get there.... unless you want me to hold off working on the soldier class

EDIT- Oh, it's a little unbalanced that a lv. 4 ogre can roll 18 dice against a small/medium figure.

Ogre Cave Dweller lvl 4:
-Wounded Rage 4
-Crushing Force 3
-First Assault 2
-Lumbering Bully 1

Assuming he engages first, has 7 wound markers on him, and the opponent is a small or medium figure, he can have an attack of 17. That's a lot of assumptions and tricky situations. Although its possible, its reasonable, especially how close he is to death and its only 1 figure ever.

Well, I'm assuming that for wounded rage 4 you mean an extra attack for every wound, not every 2 otherwise it's... uh... 17 I think.
Anyway:
Lumbering bully
Exerted strength
Surrounded fury
Crushing force 3
Wounded rage 4 (18 ) or Blood frenzy 3 (17)

Yea, although these sort of things are possible, I'm not worried about it. I'm more scared of this...

-Bloodthirsty 3 or Flail Hurricane 3
-Surrounded Fury 3
-Crushing Force 1 -> 3
-Lumbering Bully 1
-Blood Frenzy 1

Engage 2 or more figures and you're going to kill all of them almost every time.

For samurai Archer I think you should add
Katana:
When attacking an adjacent figure add 2 attack die to this figure.
If this is already there then my bad :P

I do not know if you have thought of this but I think it would be cool to have mages that specialize in a particular element like having a fire mage with abilities exploiting fire.

There already is; the Fire school of magic for the Wizard.


I found some errors in the powers guide and equipment:

1. The Elixir of Clear Sight gives +4 range, without any limit on "Figures with a range of 4 or more". As is, I could boost a Troll to 6 range with 6 attack at first level.

2. The only difference between the Longbow and the Short bow is cost. They give the same effect for wildly different costs. (Oh, and Longbow is one word.)

3. On the first page of Powers, column 2, for Elf/Drow, Counterstrike is incomplete.

4. On the Cave Dweller page, third column, Surrounded Defense gives a bonus to "this figure's attack" while 2+ enemies adjacent.

5. Cave Dweller, third column, Wounded Rage doesn't have a change from 2 to 4. I assume it should increase the bonus from 2/+1 to 1/+1.

This one is just grammar, but:

6. Wyrmling, column 2, Blue Subclass, "Lay in waiting" should be "Lie in Wait".

This is all I could think of at the moment.

I'm not sure if this has been answered before, but I can't find anything that says what class a Durgeth or Undead is. (I think there's a few more that I can't think of at the moment.)

Could you please clarify this?
