Character Bio - “Sterns worked as a janitor in Boise, Idaho when he was exposed to gamma radiation. The radiation mutated him into a green skinned, super-intelligent entity who names himself the Leader, embarking on a career of crime. He is repeatedly foiled by the Hulk, who overcomes all of the Leader's schemes as well as his artificial henchmen known as the Humanoids” (Wikipedia 2019).

GAMMA WORLD
Start the game with the Glyph of Gamma Bomb on this card. Instead of attacking with Leader, you may place the Glyph of Gamma Bomb power-side up on any empty space within 5 clear sight spaces of Leader and no more than 5 levels above his base. After placing it, immediately follow its rules and then remove it from the game, as if a figure had stopped on it.

GAMMA MANIPULATION 15
After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Leader, you may choose any Unique Gamma Mutate Hero or up to three common Gamma Mutates. Chosen figures must be within 4 clear sight spaces of Leader. For each chosen figure, roll the 20-sided die, adding 7 to the roll if the chosen figure is a figure you control. After the 20-sided die is rolled for all chosen figures, for each figure that you rolled 15 or higher for, you may take temporary control of that figure and immediately take a turn with it. At the end of each turn, control of the chosen figure returns to the player who controlled the figure before the Gamma Manipulation.

FORCE FIELD X
If Leader is attacked and at least one skull is rolled, you may reveal an "X" Order Marker on this card. If you do, Leader is not affected by that attack.

Just getting this one up and running. I'll be slow to move both of these LDs forward with the holidays coming up, but wanted to get them started at least.

Big question for y'all: do you prefer The Leader or Leader. I think he's been called both.

Really like that background choice for the mini. I struggle with those names that feel as they need a 'the' leading into them, would most likely opt for just plain Leader here.

I'd also just go with Leader for name. We tend to avoid using articles unless strictly necessary, and I don't think it is here.

Should the Gamma Bomb affect Undead? I can see them being affected by the radiation and turning into hulkified zombies. But at the same time I'm not sure if we want "Mutate" overwriting "Undead" on their cards.

I might go with Gamma Markers over Mutate Markers as well. But yeah, other than stuff like that I've got no input, looks good.

I could go either way on the Undead clause. I'd lean towards keeping it off for the sake of simplicity, especially since it's one of those where I think the theme could go either way.

The bigger mechanical impact would be on screwing over Mutant and Star-Lord builds.

Gamma Markers is fine by me. I'll make that change once I update here.

Sorry for the delays on moving both my new LDs forward. Just emerged on the other side of final grading for the semester, though, so once I'm all caught up I should move forward a bit more efficiently for a bit.

Updating to Gamma Markers and that's the only change I'm seeing for now. Staying the course on just Leader.

Anyone else want to chime in before I propose a vote for initials?

Any other thoughts on keeping the Undead clause or removing it? I'm keeping it for now just because that's the standard set of exclusions for powers like this.
