Here's what I'm thinking for him after that, pending thoughts from others. Part of the issue I think was lack of much counter play to avoid what he does so:

They couldn't counter what he was doing, without killing off Journalists fast, and it was still rough if it was attempted early. A thing to keep in mind in the context is that there aren't a lot of armies at low point values that use hubs really, especially if they have the juice to take on Supes at this cost so the OM spread was easier for Perry to target. This I think hits a better middle ground for a cheap 30 pointer that keeps him having some usage (I could see ditching the 10 per and just return to the flat 20) without being a steal at 30 points.

Would people feel comfortable with these changes? The first change (which I did test) covers some of the concerns of Lois running up alongside to keep the double attack stuff rolling with Superman II, while the second (untested) makes the pull random and allows for a bit more counterplay. I do feel like that one was feeling probably oddly hot in the game because like I said, lower point armies are more likely to have a spread that he could have more easily picked one off with, and the guarantee of a numbered one was bit too much insult to injury I think.

No problem with either of those changes. They both seem like improvements to me and if they keep his cost down too, bonus!

I'd almost consider going +5 for the initiative for each Journalist, otherwise you can get +10 from just Perry and more time than not that's going to be enough on its own. Also gets you to +20 if you run the full Lois, Jimmy, Clark, Perry set, which is kind of cool.

I can definitely go for +5 there with that logic.

Sweet. I doubt it'll make much gameplay difference most of the time as you'll probably want at least one other Journalist with him most of the time, and +10 is usually going to be enough to swing an initiative roll.

Any thought on renaming the first power to "IF IT BLEEDS, IT LEADS"? The phrase sounds odd to me without that. Not something I care a whole lot about though if you prefer the shorter version.

Does he cap at moving one figure per turn? May want some further tweaks if so.

I actually like the power name more without the "if". Got my own bad habit of dropping as much as I can from the start of a sentence though, so I may be biased.

Technically "Order Marker at random" is more the established wording, but I don't think this is introducing any confusion, so not gonna enforce conformity.
