Tornado in Iowa
Just saw on the news there was a touch down in Iowa at a Boy Scout Camp in Little Sioux. 25 injured.
Our prayers go out to them and all you folks in that area that you remain safe. |

There was a tornado that came by about a mile south of my grandmother's house last weekend in Richton Park, IL. It wiped out a carwash and some apartment buildings. I called her as soon as I heard about it and she said that she was hiding in the basement when she heard the warning. Fortunately there wasn't any injuries that I heard of. We've got the only basement on the block, so we let people know that they can come here during tornado warnings if they want to. Re: Tornado in Iowa
One just went through about 5 miles north of here, not more than an hour or two ago. Ran over to my grandparents' and shuffled them down in the basement. Not too scary, though; we've had them a lot closer.

Yeah, I just saw that too but they said 4 dead and 30-40 injured. Very sad news, I'm not overly religious, but my prayers are with them. Re: Tornado in Iowa
yes,
very sad...... i was shocked to hear 4 fatalities, I am just glad that I did not go out on the camping trip this week, but our prayers will definately go out to those affected, Update: and i just heard that the ones most affected at the camp were on a hike, and they didn't have time to seek shelter, DeadEye |

Re: Tornado in Iowa
Please pray for the families of these kids. I have just recently found out that one of the kids that died was involved in my youth ministry programs. He was one of my teens' best friend and has come to many events.
