Typical Haslab projects are a one and done thing. While there is a ton of amazing things that are a part of the Haslab for Heroscape, we are using it as a chance to relaunch a game system we all love. as the plan is now, the stretch goals would be at no extra cost and just based on how many sets people go for.

Yea. It's the goal. We won't be able to verify ship date until after the Haslab and tooling start.

One of the reasons we didn't announce the HeroQuest app until after the Haslab campaign is because of the cost of making and maintaining one. We love the idea, and will look into it based on how well the Haslab does. As I said before, just like a Kickstarter, the better it does the more we can do.

1. Yes hard plastic, see the most recent Heroquest and other Avalon Hill titles for reference to the durometer of our plastics.
2. Avalon Hill is strictly no sprues, no hobbyist assembly required. One of our primary pillars of design is “accessibility”. We want gamers to be able to crack open a box and be able to play immediately.
3. Yes, but we have improved with our manufacturing since the initial Haslab release of Heroquest, so you should see/feel an improvement. As with every new business, there is a learning period, and the entire extended Hasbro team has been hard at work improving in this particular area.
4. They will not share the same bases as the original game, but will fit appropriately on the hexes (such as the usage of the “peanut base”)

Hasbro has not transitioned to sustainable plastics across the company, and there is currently no specific timetable to do so. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the technology or cost has caught up to demand or desire.

We have an entire team dedicated to sustainable sourcing and materials. We are not one of the worlds most ethical companies for no reason.

I think everyone is working on it. I’m just not sure it’s ready for mass roll out.

I'm not sure whose feet these are, but more importantly, it establishes Volarak as our ninth Valkyrie (and lime green).
