Iron Giant

From a conversation on Discord about rules, sounds like the intent of Iron Giant doesn't really work as written with the full cover VDO stuff (which brings up more mechanical questions than it clarifies anyway). As such, the suggestion would be to replace the line about full cover with this one:

The placed figure is considered to occupy the same space as Iron Giant and share his hitzone, but ignores terrain effects and is never adjacent to or in clear sight of enemies.

Added in a bit about them ignoring terrain effects too, as I'm assuming that's how it's intended to work.

Question about Be Superman - Because it is “place,” does the “swipes” clause apply? Doesn’t place mean without swipes? Should it be some form of maneuver instead?

I believe this is what we need to update to, based on Battle Cat's wording and Bats' post above.

YOU ARE WHO YOU CHOOSE TO BE
Before Iron Giant's move action, if 1 or fewer figures are on this card, you may choose an adjacent non-Huge Unique Hero ally without Super Strength and place it on this card. Placed figures are considered to occupy the same spaces as Iron Giant, share his hit zone, and are never adjacent to or in clear sight of enemies. Before this card is flipped or Iron Giant is defeated, you must place any figure occupying Iron Giant adjacent to him.

Placement ignores swipes by default, unless an ability says otherwise. In this case, the ability says otherwise. A maneuver would change the mechanics. Good question though, there's only a few "place" abilities that actually cause swipes - Avengers Hulk and Super Saiyan Vegeta are the only other two I know of.

Hmm, though I do believe that allows a figure on Iron Giant's card to shoot out at enemies. Not sure that's intended ....

Blech. Getting to be a lengthy ability but I think this fixes that issue.

I think before we make any changes, we need to check in with @LordVenoc on intent

I remember there being something about someone wanting to be able to be in clear sight of someone else, but I don't recall the exact details, so I want to make sure we get it right.

From reviewing on Discord, I *believe* the intent was for carried figures to still be able to see enemies, so probably the previous wording is what to go with here.
